These new silks appear to be worthless. No reciepes, No NPCs will purchase, and they take up room in loot bags. Every creature from the Eastern Wastes to the moons of Norrath drop these things along with a lot of other detritis

When the new cultural armor system started many new items were added to the game. A lot of the new items were components for the cultural armor. Takes a while to develop all the recipes and get them added to Alla or EQTraders. Especially true for the low trivial stuff since most of the contributors who upload new recipes are higher level TSers who don't spend much time making the low stuff. (THANKS to those of you who DO!)
I doubt the following list is exhaustive, but it covers a pretty wide range of silks. I listed them in order of the trivial level for the silk mask template they make. (Masks usually require the fewest components and it made the cross referencing easier.)
The masks all follow much the same recipe: 2 Silks, Silk Curing Chemicals, Silk Mask Template Pattern, Simple Sewing Needle and a Filament. The Filament changes with the level of the silk as listed above.
Silk(Trivial,Filament): Coarse(21,Crude), Rough(41,Plain), Tacky(66,Twisted), Sullied(91,Thread), Thick(126,Cord), Crude(159,Fiber), Natural(196,String), Pristine(235,Wire), Fine(272,Soft), Excellent(311,Fine), Superb(348,Silk), Flawless(387,Strand), Exquisite(424,Mythical).
