Okay, i'm a 12th level DE Wizzy, roboboar, and I guess decent equip, a little better than most my level non-twinked. I have 368 HP 577 Mana. I'm doing the Cabilisian Trade Route quest, and 've gotten to this part. I get to the fort and see one inside thru the door, I know there must be more, but I can't see them and I root the one I see, resists two Shocks of Lightning, so i hit it twice with Shock of Ice (both 54 damage) Then 2 Shocks of Lightning (both 78 damage) Then a Fire Bolt (59 damage). Another pops out of NO WHERE and hits me for 2 and 11, then 11. I say to myself, "Okay, I should have easily enough time to finish off this other one" (who is only at about 57% after these 5 nukes.) Then,... right before I cast another nuke, BAM, hits me for 36 and 30, then for 38 whilst i'm reeling, and then the root wears off the other, so I run my little purple roboboar riding *** off, back into FoB. Now, they both conned blue... why the resists? And ***-kicking?
Has anyone seen a bandit *outside* of the Field of Bones drop a bandit mask (looks like a black sash)? The only ones I can recall dropping the mask are the ones with the blue pants inside FOB. The bandits outside FOB all have the same yellow garb as the footpads and marauders.

Ive seen iksar bandits in a black shirt with blue ripped pants and beware if your a newbie espesially in the pit in FOB they pick you off and attack in mobs a lot I would sugesst pulling your creature to the ramp & then attacking it. it really gives you more saftey if bandits are red or yellow to you.whatch out for the foot pads too they seem to group with bandits too =)
It may depend on the zone that you encountered the Iksar Bandit in... I know that in the Field of Bone, Dragon Pit area, that there are occasional 8th level Bandits.
I was looting a group a Scale Wolf Pups when I got ambushed by an Iksar Bandit who promplty gave me a severe smackdown...and I was near the perimiter of the Field of Bone, on the road between The Pit and East Cabillis (a "Newbie" area of the zone). You can still get ambushed by "Red's" here so watch out Newbies. (as a consolation, unbound Iksars don't have so far to walk to retrieve their corpses)
Killing Bandits, as well as Brigands, Marauders and Footpads, raises your faction with Troopers of Cabilis (Iksar guards) and Brood of Kotiz (Iksar necros) for those of you interested in such things.
