Spider also drops Woven Spider Silk used in newbie armor quest.
I have found the largest concentration of them near Orc Hill. Occasionally, I have seen them just outside of Felwithe.

Spiderling silk when woven together makes silk thread which is sued to make leather padding a very important part of making Plate armor.

Stupid spiders, dont pick on one of these until ur at least a level 3, they tend to do 2 hits for twice as much damage as every one hit you deal to it.

spiderling silk can be woven into silk thread which then can be made into silk bandages for binding a wound....You can also make silk swatches to make armor with.

ps. what use are the organs (eye, legs, etc.) do chanters need them for spells or something?

Turn in four spiderling silks to the Bard Guildmaster and you get a hand drum.

Ewwy i hate spiders... when i was level 2 i attacked one and it poisoned me and killed me but now i kill them and laugh at them all the time. you can get spiderling silks from them i think which is used for bards quests.

Actually, spiderling silk can be woven into thread and eventually cord which is used in a very few tailoring projects.
