Steel Warriors

The Steel Warriors have two guildhalls, one in South Qeynos and one in West Freeport. Both are situated around PvP Areas, so care should be taken when visiting them. In Freeport, Cain Darkmoore heads the guildhall called The Bunker. In Qeynos Ebon Strongbear leads the warrior guildhall there. The Steel warriors support The Knights of Truth in Freeport and the Guards of Qeynos in their fights against the corruption of the Freeport Militia and the Corrupt Qeynos Guards.

The following quests require Steel Warriors faction

If you want to raise your Steel Warriors, Knights of Truth, and Priests of Marr factions, simply give stacks of https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=12295 (bottle of milk) to https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/npc.html?id=300 (Mojak Hikspin) in The Commonlands. This is part of the https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=361 (Paladin Message) quest, but you don't need to actually start or complete any of the quest to do this turn in. Easy, cheap way to boost your faction!

Greetings all,

Well I am trying to raise my Steel warrior faction, I would like to do the hero bracer quest, it would be a good upgrade for me from my pine scout bracer. I have turned in about two stacks of gnoll fangs, killed that darkelf in North Ro a couple of times, and I'm still indifferent to the steel warriors and they won't trust me yet to do any quests.

And Zunjas, if your kos to the Qeynos guards, then your probably kos to the steel warriors to.

If anyone knows what faction I have to be at to be able to start doing quests for these guys please let me know. Thanks.

Yup, I did this. Gave Mojax Hickspin (or something like that) 300 bottles of milk, 1 at a time. This raised my faction with Steel Warriors. However, before I could do that, I handed in 30 Deathfist Belts dropped off Orcs in EC & WC to Capt. Hazran in East FP.

Before I gave belts, Mojax took the milk but I didn't get any response other than "There are other tasks that need to be done" or something like that. No faction, no xp, nothing. You can get the Milk off an NPC in EC called Parthar in one of the huts near the FP zone.

The only problem with Mojax is that he gets up once in a while and walks away. It's hard to give him stuff as he's walking, so just hail him once in a while and he'll stop. I gave him 1 bottle of milk in each slot, until I had gone through the 300 I had. Got xp and faction adjustments for each one.

Hope this helps!

I did the same for the Hero Shackles quest, however, I handed in Deathfist belts to Cain Darkmoore (he's located on the second floor of the building around the back side of the arena).

Gave milk to Majox (lots of it, 20 stacks) to get to Amiable
Very Simple Faction

If you are a Druid {sorry everyone else} the "clothespinner" quest is a really good way to increase Steel Warrior faction. Go to Qeynos and talk to Nerrisa Clothespinner respond "i will take the note to Milea". Bind in front of her. Use your Succor East port spell and go to East Karana . Run to the back of the gourge , beside the "ramp" to High Hold at the back stands Milea Clothespinner. Dont worry cause your faction is bad mine was ready to attack " I realize I'm lvl 57 so please dont point it out". Give her the note reseive a shawl to give back to nerrisa. The shawl reaises Merchant Coalition" faction. So its 2 ports , gate , succor east , and a little running . Took me 158 trips "yes i counted" and I was "ready to attack" as i said. Too many Ulrich McMannus kills. I tried the Dorn kills 1st this was MUCH , MUCH better for me. Good journeys friends and good luck Adads Lanys server

Killing the Tier'Dal Elite in Lesser Faydark gives positive steel warriors faction as well. And, it's one of the few ways to raise SW faction without lowering freeport militia faction! So, you won't have to worry about becoming KOS in freeport if that concerns you.

I killed these tier'dal at 42 (wood-elf ranger) very easily. They're only around level 30. But you really need to spread around harmony in order to avoid pulling Priestess liandra or the dragoon (level 45). Still, the tier'dal are rather tough and have a lot of hitpoints and I would not take them lightly.

If I recall correctly, there is a good and bad version of the belt quest.... you need to do the good version with the warrior guildmaster, and it DEFINATELY gives SW faction.

I did this quest this morning 1-14-02 and Df belts definitely do give Steel Warriors faction
Mojax
# Aug 22 2001 at 9:07 AM Rating: Decent
If you give mojax near the lake in WC milk, it will raise steel warriors and knights of truth faction though it will lower FP Militia, so you may want to turn in some DF belts to the guard in the militia house before you embark on raising SW faction. If you do both you should end with a balanced knights of truth and militia faction and raised SW faction

I'm a level 13 Ranger Wood Elf. As a favor to a friend, I want to raise my faction with the Steel Warriors. I've turned in about 10 DF belts and it's still too low. What is the fastest way to raise it? Does the green and blue quest still work?

Just wanted to update you on this, as I cannot find a way to submit a notification for incorrect information. Turning in the Barb head for the lang/LoW quest HURTS your SW faction...I have no idea why. Gnoll teeth no longer raise with them either. You can trust me on this, I have the Hero Schakle and have been trying to get my faction up enough to get the Bracer! The Barb bones in Everfrost still raise your SW faction, but very slowly....and I have been told that gnoll scalps turned in in Qeynos somewhere will do it too...but I have yet to confirm that. My next stop is Lfay to take out the elites...I hope they STILL give SW faction.
Dark Warrior Training
# May 27 2001 at 4:14 PM Rating: Decent
Fun Fact- if you are a warrior of poor faction that has relocated to Qeynos you don't need to go to all the trouble of boosting Steel Warriors faction or remained disliked enough to use the bloodsabers. Capt Tillan can train Warriors and is of the Guards of Qeynos faction. The gnoll fang and bone chip quests in Qeynos will bring you up to indifferent in no time.

turn in Gnoll Fangs (stackable, no drop) from Black Burrow to the female warrior in the Warrior's Guild in Halas, for numerous faction raises INCLUDING STEELWARRIORS.
She only accepts them in sets of three.
The faction gain is not major, but I like not having to sweat guards in FP =)

they are actually lvl 29 -30 and have a long respawn time (20 min or more). also positive faction for emerald warriors. be carefull of the dragoon and princess DE there also. harmony stops them from causing problems though.

Dorn Steel Warrior Faction
# Aug 08 2000 at 8:04 AM Rating: Decent
Dorn does give positive steel warrior faction. The one time he did not was when the DE spy popped out of his body when Dorn died. After you kill the DE spy a spider pops out of his body and drops a book (maybe written in Iksar).

I camped Dorn with a friend and he does give Steel Warrior, as well as Emerald Warrior faction. At one time, we did notice that he only have Indigo Brotherhood. We wanted to re check this, so we killed him again. He gave us the SE faction , must be a bug you encountered.

Plus SW Factiion
# Oct 03 2000 at 2:11 AM Rating: Default
I get plus Steel Warrior and Emerald Warrior faction when I kill him. However, when after killing him the Dark Elf Spy appears I don't get those two factions, guess he was really a dark elf spy from Mistmore so you don't get faction then.

#Anonymous, Posted: Jul 28 2000 at 8:54 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) You can also kill Dorn in North Ro for positive steel warrior faction. Said that he is lvl 16-17 but hits much harder.
