This quest is available for Human Paladins of Marr.
You say, 'Hail, Edwardian Holyblade' Edwardian Holyblade says 'Greetings and well met Krohfak. I am Edwardian Holyblade, noble paladin of Marr. I have devoted my life and my blade to the glory of Mithaniel Marr. I am also in charge of training all new paladins of Marr to make sure that they have the best training necessary. If you are a paladin of Marr I may have some [training] for you.' You say, 'What training?' Edwardian Holyblade says 'I have developed a training program for all young and upcoming Paladins of Marr. My tests will enable you to learn some basic hunting, navigating and armor crafting skills. All of these abilities will be very important on your path to enlightenment. If you are [ready to begin my tests] I will explain to you how the tests will work.' You say, 'I am ready to begin my tests' Edwardian Holyblade says 'Very well Krohfak, I look forward to seeing you progress through your training. Here is your special mail assembly kit. In this kit you will combine a number of components that you will collect from all areas of Freeport, North Ro and the Commonlands. The components that you will gather and combine in this kit will magical create a specific armor material piece. Each of these materials will be combined in a forge with the appropriate mold that I will provide you with. I will explain to you how the [recipes] work when you are ready.' You say, 'What recipes?' Edwardian Holyblade says 'Once you have crafted your material from the specific recipes I give you you will need the appropriate mold as I mentioned before. I can present you with the recipe and mold for Truthbringers [Helms], [Bracers], [Armguards], [Boots], [Greaves], [Gauntlets] and [Breastplates]. When you are ready to being collecting the components for a material recipe simply tell me what piece you [want] to craft.' You say, 'I want to craft a Truthbringer Breastplate' Edwardian Holyblade says 'Any paladins most important armor piece is always their breastplate. Should you succeed in crafting it your Truthbringer Breastplate will guard your upper body from any serious attacks that would otherwise be quite devasting. To create your breastplate material you will need to combine 5 Bricks of Crude Iron Ore, 1 Young Plains Cat Scalp, 1 Young Puma Skin, 1 Water Flask 1 Deathfist Orc Skull and 1 Giant Fire Beetle Carapace in your assembly kit. Once you have created the proper material take it to a forge along with this mold to fashion your very own Truthbringers Breastplate. After you have completed your breastplate come back to see me for I have one final test for you.' You say, 'What final test?' Edwardian Holyblade says 'Well for quite sometime the Freeport Militia has become more and more corrupt. They have been known to do any dastardly deed you can imagine which includes harming and sometimes killing followers of Marr. There is a group of Militia Soldiers in the commonlands that have been recently harassing a good friend of mine. His name is Pardor and he is a shopkeeper in the commonlands. As if it wasn't dangerous enough in the commonlands he know has these Militia soldiers demanding he pay them a tax that does not exist. Will you travel to the commonlands to kill these on militia soldiers? I fear for my friend's life.' Guards Fefslan, Walorinags, Gnoosals, and Eridals can be found in the Commonlands. You must slay them and return to Edwardian Holyblade with their bracers. Alright, I'm on the RP Server (Firona Vie) and the Guards around our favorite Blessed Man, Pardor, are NOT dropping Bracers. Pardor Does not give me any hints as to which ones I need to kill, and I've petitioned this bug to the local GMs. They have not yet responded despite having at least an hour to process it.
Can anyone tell me why the bracers aren't dropping??

Did this quest last night as a level 15 Pally. Each of the guards conned dark blue to me, but they weren't really that difficult. I used lull to pull them one at a time, medded briefly between each kill. Completed this in about 15 minutes.
I started as dubious to the guards, and stayed that way after killing all four. Most likely I had gained faction earlier and simply lost it back to my original level.
I don't really use the sword, I have a better weapon, but considered it a right of passage.

PEOPLE!!! come on now!!! please READ the other messages before you jump right in and start typing. Geez every one of you either says "YEAH this is a reall good weapon for a newbie, ahuh ahuh" or "warning it makes you KOS". After the fourth or fifth message of this IT GETS OLD!!

Its not WC it's EC. They are around the first set of huts past the zone from Freeport.

This quest made me go KOS with West and East freeport so i need to get an invis and sow to get to North Freeport. I am not upset that im KOS because i knew i would be some day

this is a decent weapon for a newbie, 7,27, man back in the day you had to to use rustys with ratios of 7 or :P. but the downfall is the guard killing, once you kill one or 2 guards you become Kos in WFP and EFP, but you get your revenge later on :) enjoy

I was passign by the guards at lvl 2 when i saw an iksar kill all the guards.He let me loot the corpses and i got 4 bracers i handed them in to the paladin and got a blade of marr(dmg-7 dly-27 wy 1.5 size tiny lore no drop)lovely weapon for me until i was given a berserkers sowrd.

The trick is to do the other parts of the quest first by killing orcs and the rest and increase faction with the militia....The faction can be gotten back , i mean its not like you are killing sir lucan d'lere :P

This Quest can get you in big trouble if your standing with the guards is not great to begin with. A friend of mine with a lvl. 20 pally is now kill on sight with the Freeport guards. He had to leave town.
This is a pretty good weapon for a noob paladin, very low weight and moderate delay won't amount for much stamina loss... The ratio for this Longsword is pretty good for the lvl it can be attained (unless you are twinked and have something better). BUT, the only gripe I have about this quest is that by killing the 4 guards, it lowers your faction with the militia one lvl. Yes, paladins are supposed to rise up and kill the guards at higher lvls, but getting yourself kos at such an early lvl isn't that great.

the 7/27 is better than most of these newbie weps but the good thing about this sword is it is wt 1.5 and size tiny so it sucks no stam but then again that isnt a real issue till later game then when you will aquire this sword and by then you will have sumthin even better.

I completed this part of the quest, and with no small difficulty. I you are trying this alone (or even with a couple friends) watch out for Seargent Slate. He patrols a large portion of EC, and if he's nearby when you attack the guards he'll agro on you. Best thing to do is to pull the guards near the zone line and keep a good eye out for Slate while you're fighting them.

In my server the keyword was not bracketed. After the abovementioned lines, you should say, "i kill these militia soldiers" . He will ask you to bring back the bracer from them. Total 4. Four of them stand in a Circle around the shop. They will train on you. the highest lvl among them is lvl 12.

The reward is a no drop magic 1hs magic sword 7/27 no stats.(Which is actually imho much better than many of the other weapons with stats)
