Trying to get my 24 shaman to the docks to have fun in OOT, I decide to see about upping faction with the militia first.

I invis using potions and see this yellow con guard.

I figure I will give it a try and see how I do with a LHing healing paladin.

Gah. Wish I could hit for 67 when I was a 25 paladin and have the resists these guys have.

I could never land a root, but slow landed ok.

Fair poison resist with Envenomed Breath. It was resisted a few times. Affliction more so.

Guess he needs a level or two and more mana / hp gear to last the fight through LH / healing.

This is a pretty great camp for a Necromancer; good fearkite path, decent loot, no wanderers, and gives you good Freeport millitia faction.

He guards the 3 merchants right inside the door (on the right) as you enter Freeport Office of the People (which is near the entrance to the underground tunnel from WFP). The merchants were dubious to me, so I was able to focus solely on killing him (one of the merchants upstairs is red to me). The Bronze Long Sword seems to be his common drop and respawn is around 5-6 minutes.

Fear path is out the door, across the bridge, then up the hill towards the rest of town. If you're hunting for experience, you'll need to keep an eye out for Sir Lishmin who patrols through the area.

Faction hits for killing Sir Mollin (and I suspect, any N Freeport Paladin)

KnightsOfTruth (worse)
DismalRage (better)
TheFreeportMilitia (better)
PriestsOfMarr (worse)
SteelWarriors (worse)

And I'll take this moment to give three cheers for the Dismal Rage, the forgotten guild. It's not easy worshipping the prince of hate. Die paladins die! We'll teach them to mistreat Osargen!
