Pretty Common drops from these two mobs....Pieces > Sm Brick > Lg Brick > Block

After 7hr 28mins of roaming killing all mobs on the east and west of the chasm, Received:
  • (1) Block of Acrylia: only from the outcast
  • (4) Small Brick of Acrylia Ore: from both outcast and underbulks
  • (17) Small Piece of Acrylia: from both outcast and underbulks
  • (3) Large Brick of Acrylia Ore: from both outcast and underbulks

The recipe with the planar energy shards does NOT work ( smithing, trivial 131) with my master smith bard who bought and scribed the suggested cultural tinkering scroll.......nor could my tinker smith or tinker the combination as put forth , even after scribing the scroll.

It takes 3 small peices to make a large one, but if yoiu break up the large one, you only get 1 small piece. Is this really the way its always been? Doesnt seem quite right.

I was thinking the same thing. I was told you can chisel down the big ones into little ones so I was thinking "Cool, one large = 2 small." Nope. It's a real jip. I mean, logically, it should be a straight and fair 1 large = 2 small, or something of the sort. Where does all the other parts of the large go? In the trash?

This is used to make acrylia rings (used in Acrylia Chain armor). See https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=14490 for info on acrylia rings.

Recipe for acrylia rings is large brick of acrylia ore + water + file in a forge.
