As a 42 necro I tried this guy (still trying, for that matter). He's very resistant to Magic and Poison. Shakes fear within seconds of it landing. It looks like trying to get snare to land, then agro kiting up and down the tunnel might be the best bet.

I guess they do drop each other's items. Dropped the Dirk of the Sneakster tonight 7/26 piercer Str +1 Dex +5 Agil +5 WAR,RNG,BRD,ROG / ALL. As I understand it this comes from another named Bloodtribe mob.

When he pops, his name is misspelled as Bloodtribe Surveryor. Apparantly, these guys will all drop each other's stuff.

I found the Surveyor just outside of the Blood Tribe cave. The stats previously given are still correct: 1HB, 5/20 +4 WIS +4 INT ... however it is usable by CLR, DRU, SHM, NEC, WIZ, MAG, ENC.
The graphic is a U shaped top and a bent end. You can see the Rod in his hand if the Surveyor has it.

Took him out today, dropped: Surveyor's Rod, 5/20 1HB, Dam Bon: 9, +4 INT/WIS, wt. 5, useable by all pure casters.
