More No Drops for the Vah Shir Weapons Quest. Blackened Salt Crystals are used for a Reactive Sealant Soak, done by a Shaman. The Bag of White Sand is used for porous daggers and claw blades, done by a Warrior.

Found a black powder, called Blackened Salt Crystals, no idea what its for tho. Stackable but no drop.

The staff is part of A shar vahl quest. Don't have specifics but u need a fang dropped by sonic wolfs and an item dropped by the owlbears.

After you constuct the Sonic Wolf Bane weapon and talk to Ahom Ghuzin you are sent back into the Moor to get a Sonic Wolf Guardian Fang, an Owlbear Guardian Talon, and a Grimling Cheiftain Staff. Turn these in along with your Journeyman's Cloak and you will be rewarded with a class specific Garrison Cloak(i.e., Dar Khura Garrison Cloak for Shamen, Khala Dun Garrison Cloak for Warriors, etc.). Then you will be sent into the Grimling Forest to do the scout's battles.

Hi guys,I have found the same staff while camping the cheif.No clue what it is for,and havent found anyone that does.Any help on this one would be great.
P.S.Might have something to do with starting the war.Mybe.

Was camping the Cheif this morning and about the second or third round the spiritist dropped a Grimling Cheieftan Staff. Magic, Lore, No Drop Class: None Race:None looks like the sacrificial hammer the chief drops.
Any ideas what quest it might be for?

the Ashes of Dark Ritual are for the Bard (Jharin) portion of the Vah Shir weapon quest.
