And yes, the coordinates listed as "CONFIRMED" mean absolutely nothing. For example:
"CLUE: Where there's fireworks, there's smoke. Where there's hot water, there's this.

(40, -1264, -22) is mostly East but neither North or South. It is dead center. So which one is it? The coordinates or the description? This is the confusion and problem with the formula.

The formula to figure out what zone hes in absolutely work. Been knocking this out this week on Mischief. The locations however aren't exact as he wonders, but they do give you a good place to start your search. As long as you are in the right zone you will find him.

Most information from posters on Allakhazam tend to confuse people with different "facts" they feel they have discovered and are now revealed truths.

I would applaud those who do not deceive themselves into thinking they have found a formula for BPM. EQ and this quest was not meant to be predictable. And again, a forum post from one year ago in regard to a random server's /up time and zone location helps absolutely... nobody.
Just use the above "CONFIRMED" junk and hope for the best. If you start delving into the posts below, you will be wasting more than just game time - you will be wasting brain power and precious AFK time as well!

My memory is a bit fuzzy but when I typed /up in POK I get 2 values, world and zone. Has it always been like that or is new?
But in any case I used the zone time and with the calculations BPM should be in Highpass Hold and at 45 minutes after the hour, when I got there, it was there so it looks like no adjustments are needed now. Or at least not on Mischief.

On Rathe this year (2023) the formula works fine. But the Cobalt Scar location is off (he doesn't wander down that far), the one that worked for me was -600, -1000, 78.
Also, the Qeynos Hills location was too high up the hill. Just go to the bottom of that hill and you'll be fine.

Yes, the spawn spots listed in the top article are accurate so you can park there and it will eventually pass by you. BUT he wanders around somewhat and he can port like in Dragonscale Hills. He will be in one spot and poof! shows up down the road a bit.
BPM appears at approximately the 30min mark each hour...Example 23April he appeared in Feerrott at 833PM ET
Simply use the posted formula, no adjustment needed. He appears approx 5.mins after the hour.
Following the patch on 19April2023, the formula is now accurate. No need to add or subtract to its result.
To locate the Party Machine add 4 to the formula result. BPM appears 10 mins after the hour.
at 1:10pm CST BPM was in Rathe Mountains walking around the old hill giant hill
Edit: More fun as I decided to do it on another character. Using the time above I went sequentially and at the time (12am on the 15th) came up with Nek Forrest . It wasn't there so I checked the zones before and after it. Nope. Then I tried that formula adding 4, 7 and then subtracting 4 an 7. Nada. So I just did the process of elimination and started at Nek and worked backwards. Found the little sob in Erudin. I did the calculations again and it seems you should subtract 3 this year on Bristlebane. Might check back in a couple days with the -3 value and see it thats it.

The LOC for DSH is totally wrong. Just stick RIGHT by the fence of the farm to the north part and you won't miss it like i did =/

Yes, the party machine goes to each of the locations in order. But the thing is he does not start with the first one each day. He continues to go thru the list even as no one is playing.
One thing that is confusing is that people post which zone he is in but never post the server they are on. Its different for each server.
That is where the formula comes into play. For example, you log in and want to know where he is. Go to POK and type /up in your chat window and you will get a time - for example:
/up
05:21:30:07 (take the 5 which is days x 24 which is hours in a day) = 120
Add those to the other hours listed (21) + 120
Equals 141
Now 141 divided by 20 (the 20 is how many zones it will go thru) = 7.05
Drop the whole number (7) and just use the fraction .05 which
you will multiply by 20 (.05 x 20) = 1
***note there can be, but not always a minus 4 or minus 7 from that end number. So you would use the main list and count accordingly.

I found it minutes after it started. It follows the path starting at either Oggok or the PoK book but it follows the path even the little turns. I didn't stay to see if it goes off the path and around the druid ring or to the Innothule zoneline and back.

It appears to be -4 technically? But it is appearing on the hour, so the math is right if you want to be there in time.
Your math may get you 14, let's say.
It was in Natimbi at 1pm PST, but when he shows in Highpass on the hour at 2 pm PST, the math would say 14 for a minute and then go to 15 a couple of minutes later since /uptime is a minute or off of the hour. It appears to be -4 technically? But it is appearing on the hour, so the math is right if you want to be there in time.
Your math may get you 14, let's say.
It was in Natimbi at 1pm PST, but when he shows in Highpass on the hour at 2 pm PST, the math would say 14 for a minute and then go to 15 a couple of minutes later since /uptime is a minute or off of the hour. So use -4 and then head to the next if you're after the hour-5 min mark, probably the safest bet...if that makes sense, because the /uptime changes like 2 minutes after the hour.

On the Rathe-Prexus server the zone change is around 22 minutes after the hour.
On Tunare this year it looks like it is using the -4 hour from total. And don't forget the first zone counts as 0
