While the primary use for stun in EQ is to gain aggro, it it still has the effect of disabling the mob for a bit, whcih can be very useful for anyone.

Most (but not all) Unlisted stuns work on 55 and below. Even if they're too high for the effect you still get partial agro though (Resist Agro)
