these rn't part of the guardians of dark tower faction. after doing Gubjak's quests it says i have perfect faction (well, that it cant get any better at least) with dark tower but these still con as ready to attack. i also dont get any faction hits for killing them

I've been killing these for the Ogre Relics, and I haven't gotten any faction hits for killing them. I am refering to the ones in front of the tower (mingled in with the Shadow Witch), but since I haven't gone inside, I don't know if they give faction hits.
Also, they cast Force Snap, Frost Shock, Flame Shock (name?), Instill and a shielding and DS, so safe to say they're wizards.

I ran around killing anything that moved, and a few that didn't. After bout 2 hours of keeping most of the outside clear I didn't get a single torch to drop so I would guess that it is still bugged to hell.

These are supposed to drop flickering torches for a quest, but since the last patch they seem to have stopped dropping them entirely. From what I gather, before the patch the torches were dropping at a rate of about 1 to every three or four downed lookouts.
Finally got torches dropping at 11am EDT on Thursday Oct 12. I would say it is an uncommon drop, but after killing over 200 skellies last night and sending feedback on the lousy drop rate (= 0), suddenly this morning they started dropping in the NW corner behind the tower. I just kept killing every spawn as they popped in that area. Got 8 in about an hour.
