do your dots stack? like if you casted lifetap and lifespike would they stack?
Dot's mostly stack, even same dots from multiple players stack with eachother most of the time (there are exceptions especially if the dot has a secondary effect like lowering resistances). Sadly for you though this ain't a dot. But you can chaincast both spells after eachother to avoid the recasttime, but for those few seconds it is in my opinion better to wait and enjoy the benefits of the higher lvl spell.
