I was in here, I think with my ranger, it sucked letting these rot. Now I realize if they quest can be multi-quested, I could have looted and helped to make some one else happy... a bard. I never thought about it, and not to be gready but you might be able to sell it to someone as well.

Ive been working in here for about an hour with my 37 wiz and then with my 36 pally frog and I can't seem to get an elite guard solo regardless of what I do. Soothe doesn't seem to calm the sage. Even when I pulled just one elite guard, several casters added and kept healing him. I had to root the healers and then run back to the entrance to work him alone. The wiz didn't fair as well. Obviously, adds and wizzy's don't mix. Should have tried Personal area affect spell now that I think about it. Anyhow, have only killed two elite guards with pally, one conned light blue, the other blue. No drops at all yet.

Could a lvl 29 mage solo it with same lvl pet??? If so, what pet would be best?? Earth that can root, fire that hits the hardest, water that uses pure magic, or air that stuns???

Someone else says that they can invis and and hit a goblin without aggroing the rest which doesn't make sense since invis immediately drops upon the first strike.

As a level 45 Sham I can get by most of the goblins and single pul with no problem. I do not use a pet in there. I do however get an occasional agro or add at camp or to/from. This is rare but it does happen. Maybe 2 or 3 per camp day. They die easily so I would be aware of it but not too concerned. At level 40 I got a bit more and it got bad on occasion. Now I can pull Arch and kill without pulling anything else in the room maybe 9 of 10 times. Hope this helps.

For bards doing lambent. The elites appear in kings room accompanied by a few casters. I found that invis'ing down and physically whacking one will not cause the rest to aggro on you. So you can solo one at a time. Just clear out the green ones above so you can use CoD up there, without worry of adds.
I killed about 20 elites before greaves dropped. The skin drops a lot so you can talk a magi into helping you.

I am hoping to do this quest for my mage. Could a lvl 22 bard and rogue complete this quest? The scroll and cloak I know how to get, but I have never been to perma or Sol before. Any information would be greatly appreciated

I'm a lvl 44 and if I were to go into the room and start fighting thhe Elite Goblin Guard, would anything in the room aggro even though they would be a very low green? just like if I were to go to a orc camp I can fight an orc without the others not paying the least bit attention, so is it the same here? Oh yeah, is it hard getting down here or would I not even have a chance of coming down here and hunting it without a group? thanks

Does anybody now if the ice goblin will show up as wearing a leather shirt on a mage? I once saw a picture on the net of a mage wearing an ice goblin skin and it showed up - but i just got my self a fire goblin skin and it does not show up. Did they change it and make it so they dont show up or does only ice goblin skin show up?

Both the Frost Goblin Skin and the Fire Goblin Skin show up in a leather graphic on mages (or at least, 'not a cloth look').

I dont know if they changed it, but in former times the ice goblin skin did show up as patchwork

i'm wondering what lvl invisible you were using? maybe it's because i have a 140 hide skill, but at lvl 31 these guys couldn't see me. i didn't need it but i just wanted to check if what you said was true.

I have a silvery axe 2H and 1H. 1h axe is 6 damage 22 delay. The 2H axe is 21 damage and 44 delay with sepent sight.

correction i believe the 2h axe is 21 dam and 48 delay with serpent sight. I used it for several high 20 lvls very effective.

The frost goblin skins drop alot if you are killing elites. about one if 4 or so when I have been there. The icy greaves drop a little less then that. Probably better then 1 in 10 or so.

I haven't fought the elites yet, but I haven't gotten a skin yet from Ice Goblins. Pretty dang rare, considering I destroyed all of Permafrost to get one. Heard of one dropping, but fell down that pit into the Dire Wolves. Good thing for invis.

How often does it drop? I could use a Robe of the Elements, but I don't want to camp any of the spawns for a long time. I got the twice-woven cloak already by pure chance.

Elite HONOR guards drop the silvery 1h and 2h axes. They are rare spawns in the elite gobling guard spots.

Elite Goblin Guards drop fine steel, medium bronze, and frost goblin skins which are used for the mage Robe of the Elements quest.

The silvery 2h is 22/48 i believe. Having one of their axes will let them see invis, most of the time, this however does not work with pc's(i wish).
