So far, after days and days in MPG, RSS, Illsalin, and other "hot" spots for glowing runes, I have come to the conclusion that the best place to camp for glowing runes is in the Sleepy/Exhausted camp in Dreadspire Keep.
I'll post details on this camp under the Sleepy Guest entry but suffice it to say I pulled down 7 glowings and misc. loot in one day here.

Also drops from Sendaii the Hive Queen
Took a raid to Rybah camp in RSS (ice) to farm runes from 5 named in the area. In 3 hours only 2 named and no runes. Now that they have nerfed the named and rune drop rates in RSS to levels of almost non-existance, where is a good place to farm these with a raid of 15 to 18 people in DoD?

Is there a good place to solo these I am a 70 Druid that needs all his 69 and 70 spells and need a little help in this.

For Greater Runes the easiest mob I have found hits for a little over 1K on a Warrior with all defensive AA's, 1680 DD+stun proc, Summons, and Enrage at 10 pct HP. They are cake compared to the easiest mobs I have run across that drops Glowings.
Which mob was that?
At one time, the orcs in the northwest corner of Stoneroot Falls dropped minors through greaters like water. Never Glowings--- these are reserved for named, for the most part. I've never seen one drop off a non-named.
However, it was deemed far too much by the powers-that-be, and now these orcs drop them incredibly rarely, and at best, the lessers... no regular or greaters any longer.

Not gonna be able to solo anything that drops glowings. They hit for, lets just say a lot, I never got hit but saw the effect on our tank.
