I am hunting giants right now in Mountains of Rathe and some of them con dark blue to me at level 34 so they can pop lower than that.
If you were me and I were you, would we still be friends?

This item will work for the necromancer AA ability 'Flesh to Bone' .
I found that Frontier Mountains and the castle keep thing in the middle have a ton of giants that drop a ton of toes. Usefull if you are a spell researcher.
Hi it's me again. I am totally laying waste to that little forty thing. The respawn time is literally minutes. So it's not that bad. I now have every single slot in all my bags on my body filled with Toes, except for 2 (food and water) hehe.
The named hill giant Gornit spawns on pirate island on the shore a bit past the druid ring ruins (CW). He drops all types of giant toes. The 4 types of giant toes are also used the Sol Ro Temple magician pet focus item quests. Note that the quest toes are the ice giant toes not the actual frost giant toes from Velious giants.

They are also used in Magician spell research.
I'm assuming each giant(Fire, Hill, Ice) drops toes, they're used in alchemy as components, so there's another use for them here. As far as I know, those three, drop toes. ::Shrugs:: Correct me if you want. =)
