The Thundercrest Isles are home to the storm dragon, Yar`Lir, and her many minions. The area is believed to be host to a wealth of knowledge, magic, and history about the dragon grounds in northeast Antonica.

The isles are fiercely protected by its residents who collectively label themselves the Thunder Guardians. Also taking up residence here are the Dirtdigger Goblins who keep themselves confined to the Dojo (the central complex) and its perimeter.

A level 55 cannot enter the non-instanced Thundercrest Isles zone, a 60+ character can. Instances may well differ but I have not tested this.

The Broodlands
Touch the portal to Thundercrest

Thundercrest Isle
We've heard that there is a ritual performed everyday on the Thundercrest Isles. It's some sort of worship of Yar'Lir and jsut about every being on Thundercrest is forced to attend. They say that their combined prayer and worship helps to keep their mistress calm and any day that they do not hold this ritual terrible storms rage across the floating islands, often hitting the Broodlands as well. We've heard that many of the goblins working on Thundercrest were sent there as much to take part in this ritual as to do labor. We want you to prevent or disrupt the ritual today so that our agents can use the cover of the storm to do some work. When you are ready, go to the Broodlands and find a way into Thundercrest. We need you to stop the residents from getting across the bridge to the place they call the Halls of History where this worship takes place.

Reward
Norrath's Keeper Token
44 Radiant Crystals

During this mission you repeatidly see the following message

A low, deep gonging sound rebounds off the walls. The faint, distant chanting that you relize you have been hearing for a while now, increases in volume for a moment, then fades again.

We did not complete this mission we killed 39/50 mobs still had 4 plus hours on timer but there were no more mobs to be found searched whole area plus druid track showed none. There is a door in the far NW that if you click on it will disappear you pet but will not open....

Shrink at the door, and duck under it almost in the middle to the left side a little, then you can get across the bridge to finish off the rest of the mobs, fyi.
Took us 2 hours to complete a don, yep, dont laugh, SK and War were LD, and we finished up with chanter druid ranger beast kitting kills, TG for AM3 EQ ! got 40 rads too.

This task requires massive DPS and a good enchanter to pull off.

Once you start get to the locked door as fast as possiable, as the mobs path towards the door (most path along the western wall but a few may go along the north), pull them mez and kill them as fast as possiable.

You have appox. 1 hour to 1 hour 15 min to kill the mobs. If you do not have the DPS, then you will run out of mobs long before you make the required number.

We looted two keys but could not open the doors to kill the general (

Suspect mission stuffed - if not please tell me what we did wrong .
RE: Behind Closed Doors

Before opening the doors we had to clear the side rooms off the halls leading up to the doors to the common rooms where the generals are.

Unfortunately we then had the same problem as Lady Sugarplum - nothing we did would agro the generals. We killed every other mob that we could find in the building but still no luck.

This mission seems to be bugged. Has anyone completed it?

My group completed all steps except the last two:

[]Kill General Tro1Lir
[]Kill General Veth`Lir

We dont know what we are doing wrong but we can not engage either Generals. No spells, or melee does anything to them. We also tried hailing to no avail.

Can anyone help us out with this please?

Thanks!

Creator quest from the Lieutenant:

1. You zone in on the front veranda to the small building on the west side. No roamers here. Will have to kill a couple on the veranda to clear your way to the rest of the quest.

2. pull the roamers from the west hallway entrance and then move the group in hallway to the south east corner.

3. Pull the mobs to the west of there to clear the hall then open the doors to the botanical garden room and pull the couple from the front area.

4. move the group into the botanical garden room south east corner and pull the misc horse and drake mobs from around the 4 broken/defunct statues.

5. Just kill the statues one at a time. They dont attack or even defend themselves. They just riposte if anything.

6. Once the 4 defunct statues are down you get a message about a rumbling. Move the group back out to the south hall.

7. work your way around to the west side and enter the far west short hallway

8. Pacify and pull the mobs around the named Statue then try to get him as a single. Hes not much tuffer than the other mobs you have been fighting

9. After the statue goes down you get another message about more trouble to take care of. Move the entire group back to the zone in spot.

10. Pacify to single pull the 4 stone giants on the bridge

11. After the giants are down a named will pop near the east doors. Just hit your tank with Heal over Time and take em down.

12. We havent gotten any good loot from here, just the 45 crystals you get for the mission and about 200p each for junk loots.

After the patch (where the crystals were changed to 40) the three statues in the garden also now aggro, and assist other mobs. They hit like normal mobs, and now give exp, but have VERY low hitpoints.
