I'm a little bummed that the quest got changed, whenever it was...
For flavor reasons, hunting Kerrans and Pumas made more sense than venturing afar to hunt elephants and frogloks.

These armor [designs] are unlike anything I've ever seen before." You say, 'What designs?' Korzan Virimove says 'Yes, it's very difficult to explain without the actual armor patterns to look at. Would you like a copy of these ancestral armor patterns? I can create a pattern [book] for you, provided you can bring me the necessary ingredients. I may also have some additional armor [patterns] provided you are willing to help me with my research." You say, 'What book?' Korzan Virimove says 'Very well. I will need a belt pouch for the cover, a bamboo wakizashi bo for the spine, a kobold finger bone for the clasp, and a bathide wristband to grind down and make a salve which will protect and preserve the finished product. I have heard these items can be found in the Warrens. Return with them and the pattern book shall be yours.' When I try to get the task for the first book I am asked to kill 20 adult elephants in SK and 10 Ton Warriors, problem is that in 2 hours in SK with a tracker I found ZERO elephants of any kind. Is this quest broken or did they move the elephants somewhere else?

Well I had been working on my master book for over a year, had it finished for 8 months and kept selling my sirens part to vendors, today I finally got off my duff and finished it. The new Master Book is called Sacred Book of Erudite Culture hopefully it can get changed sooner or later in the listing above

For the Eminent armor book where is the Strong Sentinels looking in to do the quest but not sure if soloable by a lvl 77 chanter

The pumas only seem to spawn every 30 mins and it's only two of 'em. So be ready for a long camp.

"Armbands" is the term for DoN erudite cultural wristbands.
Now he wants a Large Darkhollow Geode. Does anyone know who drops it?

Just a note to make sure your belt pouch is " empty" when you turn in the 4 items...just did not knowing the belt pouch has some junk in it and he gave me back the full pouch and none of the other 3 items ...grrrr ...I emptyed it and tried to give it back but he would not accept it....oh well back to the warrens..

Number of Bulthar trunks was lowered to 20. Cannot remember if they changed the minimum number of Bulthars to kill tho...
20 trunks and 80 bulthars to kill for masters book...I just finished it with my chanter.

Fot the first task to get the Journeyman's Book. My task window says I only have to loot 1 medium quality cat pelt. Not 4.
Well just did mine and it asked for 4 pelts.

Bamboo Wakizashi Bo how rare is this thing? I have killed over 1000 greater shaman and the named for it and can not believe that it has not dropped yet. I don't think that it is a "common" drop as stated.

i've seen these drop off of any of the higher lvl mobs in this zone. Like those that are closest to the prince and the king.
try going to the kerra island for this item it is a very common drop there. i saw six in he first 8 kills there

Finally found that prick of an NPC he's over by the Docks in Eurdin, that much explains why i wasnt able to find the soulbinder ><

I have been unable to find this "good" erud city trade skill quest npc.. Every day for the last week ive went there, I can not find the little prick. I cant even use ctrl-f to find the Soul Binder "a mysterious force prevents you from finding your destination." any help?
Fyi...if you have a mysterious force preventing you from finding something, it is thru a zone port...i.e. in paineel, you try to find the soulbinder from the bank...nothing. but if you go toward the shadowknights guild hall, (arena) you can find him.
Erudin has same type things. from the castle area to the docks area. Hope this helps.

Also, Caz Water is sold by "Erelin Verisue", a Cleric Spell vendor.
Do we (see subject) have to work on goody-goody faction to do this, or is there an NPC in Paineel for the "bad boys/girls" of Odus? >:)

The armor vendor Faratain sells armor combine pieces, and the Tailor vendor, Winnla Crestus, sells the cloth stuff, as well as the Vellum for Symbols.
The Cleric spell vendor, Erelis Verisue, sells the Blessed Water of Cazic-Thule.
