a lesser shaman droped the Bamboo Wakizashi Bo for me.

I was there at lv 70 killing all for 3 hours until it dropped. It is really rare.

I got mine from a frothing Kobold, right near the shaman room. Greater Shaman also dropped bamboo weapons.

Spent hours in the Warrens clearing the entire zone and never saw one. 5 minutes in Kerra and one dropped from a Kerran Pasdar. Forget finding this in the Warrens.

Drops from a greater shaman

Camped the High Shaman for about 20-30 kills over a week can never saw this drop. Cleared out the Kings room a few times assuming that it might drop from something else and sure enough got the drop from a greater shaman.

Hope this helps,

It appears that they think, "Since a Wakizashi is a short Katana, then a Wakizashi Bo would be a short Bo staff!" Wrong. The wakizashi analogue for staves would be your jo staff. It's, well, a short staff/stick.
What does it look like?

Hmmm

Well, all I can say is that Norrath sure has some heavy bamboo. Weight of 9.0 is more than most pieces of platemail.
Suxors even more!

i'm guessing on the test tehy forgot to put the text RANGE in slot. i guess?
RE: ummm

I think if it has a range shown (i.e. 40) you can equip it in the range slot, and throw it.
Which is good! If I got this, I would want to chuck it.

It makes sense to me that you wouldnt hand the real deal to a person in training till they could keep from hitting themself with a bamboo mock up weapon, thus the reason for it being a bamboo <weapon name> bo, its a practice tool

Interestign idea, love to see my cleric running around with, for all intents and purposes, a wooden sword :)

What is a wakizashi bo??
wakizashi-swort samurai sword
bo-staff
wakizashi+bo=? a staff
maybe a bladed staff but then that would be a naginata.

I think the meant something like 'Bamboo Wakazashi Boken'. The boken being the wooden practice version of the japanese swords.
