slaughter?
# Nov 03 2004 at 4:45 PM Rating: Decent
Well it has come to my attention and wether right or wrong determine it for yourself. I have killed hundreds of mobs in Vex with groups and have yet to find a single copy of this spell. Then I was told by someone that the only way for the spell to drop is if the mobs are soloed... which in turn means that I am never going to see this spell unless it is a kill shot thing... but even then... there doesn't appear to be any standards in which this spell drops, so back the slaughter.

No, there is no soloing involved. You need to kill raid mobs in VT for this drop, or Lord Seru or perhaps Vulak in ToV. It will not drop from trash mobs in VT.
No Reagent Cost

As of the September 13, 2004 patch this spell no longer costs 2 peridots to cast. Clerics rejoice.

how to get
# Feb 28 2004 at 6:33 AM Rating: Default
i take it this spell is "no drop" does a dude sell it or do i have to kill somebody? include all the details if I have to kill someone. how many hps do they hit for? what classes in the group should I have? where is the npc?
hmm

Well, this spell looks awesome - when it says the guy from Sanctus Seru, does it mean

a) He sells it?
b) I have to go in there and place a FAT whumpin on him in the hopes he drops it?
c) Take off my breastplate and flash my froglok tata's

Hmm... I think its either a or b - no one wants to see froglok tata's, and this frog's tata's aint worth that spell LMAO.

All ancient spells are no drop and are only found as loot on Luclin bosses, like the ones listed above.

This is a common drop off named in Vex Thal, such as from Diabo Xi Xin Thall and Thall Va Kelun.
