She will Cazic Touch you if you are outside of here room and on here aggro list. This happened to me a few times while I was trying to get my guys in place but once I went into the room she stopped doing it.

Diabo Xi Xin Thall will cast Destroy II if Kaas Thox Xi Ans Dyek is still alive. I saw it happen just the other day when Kaas repopped just a minute after DXXT.
Aten Ha Ra does that as well, if you aggro her while Kaas, DXXT or Va Xi is still alive. I haven't seen any other VT boss do that, only DXXT and AHR. Leaving chars camped in their rooms is not safe.
The death touch is most likely a consequence of killing raids in this zone out of their intended order. In a fully spawned zone, there would be many Akhevan Warders spread about the zone that block people from passing. If you aggro a Warder, you get ported to the zone-in area. As you kill mobs in their intended order, these warders gradually despawn, clearing the way for you to progress through.
My best guess is that the death touch is a result of bypassing this mechanic (which can be done entirely unintentionally or unknowingly).
It seems the site's spell search no longer allows you to search for numbers, and I am unsure how else to fish through spell data to find the name of the spell. Searching for things like "decrease hitpoints by 1000000" or "decrease hitpoints by 200000", etc. would turn up death touches. From there, you can usually narrow down a particular spell based on its name, its descriptive text, its ID number, or a combination of those. If nothing stands out, then it's probably just a generic one like Cazic Touch.

I know, this will not help a lot people looking at a strategy but I had to share my joy. We just killed the mobs downstairs, went up the stairs and rushed him on his platform. We did push him to a corner and casters went the opposite corner (avoiding corners with doors).

We are not espacially well equiped. We just did and did again the mobs from the zone in before this one in Vex Thal to upgrade a bit, and we had the help of a 4 people external to our alliance with better gear.
Edit : we had to learn a lot on how to move fast enough to avoid repop, where to fight while progressing, what to mez, what to kill first... Reaching the mob was just the result.
On Bertoxx, we have problems with mobs agro from under the floor when we pull this guy to our usual corner. Mobs agro from down the stairs and threw the door on the floor under DXXT, and it's been doing that sense the dx9 patch, and I've /bug it several times.
Mobs in this zone seem to be able to see threw walls and doors also... Makes this zone even more fun...
