Cast by a level 60 shaman, 50% haste max, not 78%.
Haste max percentage out of date

As it currently stands, the maximum beneficial haste percentage given seems to be 50% now. Verified the maximum amount given by my 76 enchanter. Not sure if it is reached by level 45 but the amount of maximum haste is no longer 78%. Please update.

From what I've gathered and seen thus far, this is the last BST spell for being able to HASTE anything other then your pet. Very sad considering Shaman & Enchanter characters are able to cast haste that last up to 10x the duration of this. I think atm this spell last 23minutes, and the others are 60minutes plus. I made a shaman because I got tired of this perticular reason, but their dps with their dots & pet is no where the same as a bst & wolfie.. Guess I'll have to search for a clicky item that last longer then this spell. It would also be nice if bst had atleast a group version of this spell.. Just my 2 cents..

Stoss 70 paladin / FV server
Ganjo *box* 70 bst / FV server
Bedfriend *box* 69 shaman / FV server

Illusionist Sevat does NOT sell this in PoK, however Illusionist Jerup does for 18.427 with 135+ charisma.

Level Restriction?
# Jun 16 2004 at 8:14 AM Rating: Decent
Anyone know what the lvl restriction is for this spell? My 56 shaman cannot cast this on lower lvl toons (spell is too powerful for intended target), yet a 39 chanter can? Same spell, same target, yet one can land it while the other can't.

Since the shaman version of the spell is above 50 it is restricted like all 50+ spells: either level 42 or 46.
I know it's not really fair since the enchanter version can be cast on anyone but that's the way the spell engine works.

It really IS fair..
they're seperate spells. Just happen to have the same name over different classes as to be simplified for others.

Actually they are the same spell, Effects are identical. Truth is as was stated above, depends on level the caster gets the spell.

They're seperate spells, Maswov.

They may have the same name. They may have the same effect. They may have the same duration. They may have the same resist check. They may have the same cast time, fizzle rate, recast.. and they may even be from the same scroll. Still, they are different spells in the programming.

I'd be surprised if they're different spells. I'd assume that it's the exact same object and the only difference is that in the code it checks the class that's casting the spell. But it could be that there is a Celerity class that is subclassed into enchanter Celerity and Shaman Celerity. If it's the latter, then the main purpose of doing it is to restrict shamans from casting it on characters below 50 (which in this case is likely specified in the object itself).

Haste Group
# Apr 26 2004 at 5:31 PM Rating: Decent
You know as a Beastlord, I would pay alot of plat just to have a group haste spell. Sure let it be 50% haste, but for goodness sake make it a group spell. I am so sick of having to cast it on each member of my group one at a time every 16 minutes.

Just wishing....

Talisman of Alacrity at 64. I know it is a ways away but a group haste spell is there.

Talisman of Alacrity is a shaman spell. The person posting stated he was a beastlord. Unfortunately there is no group haste for a beastlord.
