Tried duo with lvl 70 shammie and lvl 68 ranger. Chef has large aggro range, and attacked before we could wipe the room. Killed the shammie quickly. Ranger tried to keep chef from despawning (nor sure how long spawn lasts), but died too. Got lvl 72 druid to help on 2nd try, and was easy. Only dropped the pungent slimy boots. Chef ran (even though both druid and ranger thought it he was snared), but dots killed him. Expect lots of aggro if chef runs. Chef's pet is more of a distraction than anything else. Chef went down in hp reasonably quickly with melee from ranger and dots.
Spawned 2 times in a row for me, but droped the shoes both times 8-(. Hoping for the pants soon as they are a major upgrade for both my zerker and the rogue that is helping out.
Been killing in this zone with just Zerker shm duo some, mostly have rogue around though.... mob not hard to kill.
About 10 days spent in Riwwi trying to spawn chef to get the pants. He seems to spawn in any of the 4 spots filled by a Ratuk Screambringer in the middle building. The middle building is one of the 3 buildings surrounding the little 'porch' thing in the middle of the zone, the little covered square with a well in the middle and 2 noc spawns. Obviously, its the middle of the 3 buildings bordering the porch
Ive killed everything in the building scores of times, gotten chef to pop 3 times. He is an extremely rare spawn. So far Ive gotten the neck piece once, and the shoes twice.
Kind of annoying that the nice chain items are so rare when the uber monk arms with 20 atk dropped 3 times so far, and thats with me not even trying to kill the nightwatchman everytime he spawns.
The Chef is a random spawn from any static Ra'tuk a far as i can find. I have pop'd him from all four ra'tuks in the center building as well as the static ra'tuk right in front of that building as well as the just outside the northwest corner of the western building. I don kill out in rivers so dont know if the couple of static spawns out there will spawn him or not.
As a side note any of the static Nocs are Ph's for Viqu the Blindeye and the wandering ra'tuks in the center buildings area are the PH's for the Night Watchman ( during game night hours of course )
There are named with multiple spawn points, doesnt make them random completely, could anyone please post where the actually saw this guy? What is the 'center building'?
