Eron Nurwistle may be found on top of a windmill, at +800, -550. You must have a minimum skill of 250 in Brewing to receive this task. The task can be requested out of order but must be completed in order (using components from the previous task).
At the end of "Counting Shadows": Eron Nurwistle says 'Yes, that reconfiguration works much better. For your next task, you will need to test your [brewing] skills.' You say, 'brewing' Eron Nurwistle says 'While you have been doing the other tasks, I have learned of a nostrum that may help me recover. If you get this nostrum I will give you a web made of fine tinkering gears and miniature pistons, wires, and pinions. The set of gearing will help take the jewelry to its next level. You will need to find a blue sapphire to work into the mechanism as you attach it. Are you willing to get this [nostrum]? I will only give this to experts brewers as I do not want to get something poisonous.' You say, 'What nostrum?' You have been assigned the task 'Blood For the Cure'. Eron Nurwistle says 'Good Good. Here is the book you need with the recipes you will be using. You will need to get the albumen of spider eggs from the bloodfang spiders within Bloodmoon. Be careful in there, it is a rather dangerous place. The beasts in there tend to congregate in groups, so you may need to bring friends to help. That decision is up to you of course.' Eron needs you to make a nostrum for his health. Though this task may seem the easiest from a quick look because there are not many steps, it will be rather difficult as Bloodmoon is NOT a location you are likely to find easy to navigate. You receive a scribable scroll Eron's Cure, with text: To whomever is reading this. Sorry it is so scribbled but I am feeling poorly. Somehow Meldrath has poisoned me, but I know the cure to what he is using. Gather the albumen from five bloodfang spider eggs. Use this as the empowering agent in a nostrum. If you manage to save me, I will give you a tinkered web of gears that can be overlaid onto the chain to help it towards its final configuration. An uncut rubelite will also need to be crushed into the chain as lubrication for the chain. Gather spider eggs from the bloodfang spiders in bloodmoon. Though the eggs are very large, you will only be able to get a small amount of albumen from each egg, so you will need five in order to get the correct amount. Eron Nurwistle says 'Thank you. Spiders are located EAST near the Loping Plains EXIT. There are a Ton of Orcs that see thru inviso, be prepared to get jumped by 10+ mobs on the way there, as well as aggroing the spiders you will get stupid adds
Large room to the North East. 1 clear got me 11 eggs. Clear the top and the bottom of the pit.

When you go to make the Geared Jewelry be sure you have "Uncut Rubellite" with you!
Go down through the jail, take the secret door into the tunnel towards the east. Cross that room and go into the hall. You have one roamer and 2 door pops. 25 minute respawn timer on them. Camp there and pull the room with the spiders infront of you. Drops uncommonly but not rare.

Drop rate is ok; had 12 eggs from a full set of spiders, incl. next room.

27 bloodfang spiders in the room dropped 12 Bloodfang Spider Eggs.
I laboriously managed to get to the safe tunnel at the bottom of the well and killed about 6 spiders before I had to log for the night. Not a single drop. Is that rate unusual or just unlucky?

We killed a bunch also. It seems most of the ground floor mobs didnt have any, but might. The upper tier spiders had 2 of 4 killed, so might be more common higher up.
