SoF Tradeskill Quest #4: Scrap Oil

after:

Create 1 Eron's Tertiary Setting Jewelry using tradeskills 0/1 (ALL)

I assume, or hope, this is a no-fail combine. The info isn't mine, I copied it from very helpful posts which follow, credit being due to them.

BTW, the previous combine, with a trivial of 400, has a real chance at failing. I failed twice, and had to go back and pharm more components, before succeeding.

Refined Steamwork Oil - Dropped

got the task and saw the drop rates for this item, not good, but continued. 6hrs later no oil and only 5 at a time spawn, down the elevator, in the refinery. So wondering, do the mobs of the correct name outside the refinery area have this, as well? not a post or anything to look at, regarding drop.

Can anyone tell me what I am missing? I try to do the combine for the Refined Magnetized Scrap Metal, and get the following message: 'This seems correct but something is wrong. Perhaps you need to know something more in order to combine this'

I am level 82 (requirements say level 80 needed) with a black-smithing skill of 300 (336 with my trophy - requirements say 250 needed). I have bought and scribed every trade skill book/scroll I can find. What else do I need?

Eron's Tertiary Setting + Green Gem Grade Faycite + Red Gem Grade Faycite + Eron's Reconfigured Simple Jewelry = Eron's Tertiary Setting Jewelry

I just completed this step today and it only gave me 2 AA.

You combine the Refined Magnetized Scrap Metal, Refined Steamwork Oil and the setting mold in a forge to make the tertiary setting, then you combine the tertiary setting, one green gem faycite and one red gem faycite and the result from the last step in a jewel kit to make the final piece for this step.

The combine for Refined Magnetized Scrap Metal is 5 Magnetized Scrap Metal and 1 High Quality Carbon Powder with is vendor purchased. This is a 100 Trivial.

After Delivering the requested items Eron will hand you back a Eron's Configurable Tertiary Setting Mold. This is combined with 1 Refined Steamwork Oil and 1 Refined Magnetized Scrap Metal to create the Tertiary Setting which is 400 trivial. Good luck.
