This guy is a spirit guardian for the Vah Shir village nearby (Based on what I got talking to the cats on my visit there). It sees invis, hates Wolf form (not sure about other illusions), is indif otherwise and will not agro if you attack other Pandas nearby. Thank goodness : ) He does indeed seem to be MR resistant. However, I assisted a bard in finishing him off last night, and I hit him with a fire based spell for 2 max hits and one half resist. (I am a 42nd lvl Druid and he was yellow to me) I regretted giving the help. The bard did not really need it, and I took a faction hit that hurt my Vah Shir faction. I was apprehensive when I went to the cat town. Wish I had gone before I "helped" the bard. Oh well, they still gave me the quests so I can get it back up I hope. BTW almost everything in this zone will agro on you, green or not. Except the cat people and this Panda. There may be a few others that don’t but I did not run into them.
I haven't killed him or any of the giant named animals in Stonebrunt, but they seem to be on the same faction as the Kejekans in the zone. I've heard reports that killing them hurts a kejek faction, and an Erud paladin faction. The Kejekans will fight with the kobolds, and the giant named animals will too (it's fun to take one to the higher level highland kobold camp and watch it kill everything in the camp).
Most of the regular animals in the zone are factionless, and very agro. I have no idea how they'd respond to a druid. The Panda cubs, oddly, are indifferent to my characters. The snakes are also non-agro (and possibly con as non-KOS).
WHATS THE POINT in the +wis on the robe he drops? No wis based caster classes can wear it, only the +int ones. Wouldve made a nice alternative to a crystal covered shroud for my human druid if they'd thought it through.
i forgot one thing, im not sure if that bonus applies to spell casting, but is does apply to trades, (e.g. tailoring) if your int is high normally you will learn trades faster, but if your wisdom is higher than your int the game will use that bonus to determine how fast you learn trades------

If you are a druid, you will learn skills faster if you buff up your INT, Wis is a mana driver only. When will everyone learn this. (It is rumored that wis helps success rate in trade-skill production, but personally I dont think so)
i agree on that, but higher wisdom=higher success rate in trade skills. my friend's druid almost never fails on stuff that is trivial much higher than her skill.
If your friend's druid's int and wis were reversed, she would succeed just as often. Verant's programmers have said specifically that the higher of wis or int affects BOTH success rate and skill increase in trade skills, and that the lower of the two stats is thrown out of the equation.
If your character is a int based spell caster but you have more wisdom than intelligence, the game will count that bonus instead- at least i know this is true for rangers- i hope this helps
How can you say pointless wisdom robe, the oracle robe has been around for ages and you don't see anyone complaining about the +wis on that, no one cares. The int on the robe isn't bad, and the +Str and mana are a nice addition. Personally I'd rather have the +wis just for the extra stat, no matter what it's worth.
He is level 45, and according to the Druid that tried to kill him, is 100% MR... Don't mess with this guy unless you have a lot of tank power and good healers... He hits for over 100 max...
I know it is silly, at 54 I should NOT care a lick about silly faction, but I do. Anyone know the faction on this big cuddly looking bear? AND is it like the bears on Antonica, meaning, if you don't kill one of them, do they all leave you be if you are druid?
Sorry, what i was trying to say is that unless it's the wrong mob, this mob couldn't have been lvl 33. A giant panda in snow area con blue at lvl 51 and 52.

Today i soloed it 3 times. Dropped 2 Giang Yin Claws (7/28dly 4str 4 wis 3MR) and 2 Gargantuan Panda Pelts (3AC 2str 1dex WT2.0, Large races only).
Giang Yin has High MR, maybe even close to 100%, he can see thru invis, is an animal and thus can be panicked/terrorized. He was Blue to me at level55, and his max hit was 113. He has TONNES of hitpoints.
