I am on Coirnav, a TLP server. We are in Luclin at the moment. I found three bamboo shoots on a bazaar player vendor today. Pretty sure we don't have Stonebrunt Mountains zone yet.
I have sent the player vendor an in-game e-mail tio see if he knows where he got them.

these can be foraged somewhere else- my druid has never been to Odus and somehow I ended up with this in my inventory. I've been in CR, Blightfire moors, Stonehive, and Goru`kar Mesa but I don't know which I got it in.
I was able to forage this in Crescent Reach and Blightfire.

The linked quest for Yuio's Illness rewards a nice 1hs proc blade.
My bard doesn't have the greatest skill at Foraging and yet as player I am very patient to just keep trying.
I've read numerous message boards that mention the rarity of these as well as profitability of selling them because of that.
What I am wondering, given the they layout of the zone from the Gunthak boat to the high Snow, if there is a paticular area or "hot spot" more likely to try or that it really doesn't matter as long as attempts are made in Stoneburnt standing anyplace?

More of Sony/Verants brilliant minds at work. Make an item required for tailoring, and make it impossible to get unless you are a class that can forage. Makes a lot of sense doesn't it.
Supposedly it MIGHT drop off one of the extremely rare pandas you might find in the zone.
Then they wonder why so many have left this game.

I have foraged a few of these. But once I leave Stonebrunt, they disappear from my inventory. What's up with that? I am eating them some how?
Also, I have never seen them on sale at the Bazaar.

Bamboo Shoots are used in Erudite Cultural Tailoring. Brew one of these and a water flask and it makes bamboo dye.

I foraged one of these in Stonebrunt - what are they used for?
Bamboo Shoots also drop rarely off of all types of Panda in Stonebrunt though they drop so seldomly that it would take the long side of forever to get half a stack
