Most everything bounced off and I am a 70 Mage. Pet tanked it out but mostly Magic nuke connected more than anything.

Dropped nothing after 15 minute fight.

This guy solo-able by a 65 SK?

Also, are the mobs the same, even with maybe 2-3 Adds...?

Replying to a 3 yo post but...I tried like 3 years ago as 65sk with decent bazaar gear and 35ish AA. Couldn't do it. Threw everything at it, but adds were a pain. Had to FD. Tried 3 times. Got close, but no. Now, a good 65sk with HoT and DS pots could prolly do Np.

When i originally posted i thought the name of this mob had changed. This isnt the case, there are 2 named mobs that spawn in the same general area. One is called Brood Mother, the other is called Brood Master. So far Brood Master has dropped CC BP, Brood Mother has dropped CC legs, Kobold bone gaunts and a helm as well. Hope this helps.

Easy as pie to kill if you have a good group.
We took her out, with a SK holding uber taunt, 2 rogues behind doing the BS thing a chanter to keep everyone happy, drood to evac and myself a cleric.

Was a textbook fight, agro barely left the Shadowknight at all, at the end of the fight i has 70% Mana. She conned yellow to me at 54 and had approx 20k in hp.

Cake.

Can someone give some detailed instructions how to get to this mob? There are many spiders in the pits and many halls. Any detailed info would be great.

I might suggest downloading a map (eqmaps has pretty good one) but if you want to get confused, just follow these directions. Each line is one room :)

Drop down. (two kobolds)
Straight. (two kobolds)
Right. (safe room - no spawns).
Left. (two kobolds)
Right. (two kobolds)
Left. (two kobolds)
Straight. (top of 1st ramp, two kobolds)
Straight. (top of 2nd ramp, two kobolds)
Straight. (spectres wont aggro, two kobolds)
Right. (no spawns)
Straight. (four spiders)
Right. (two spiders)
Straight. (no spiders)
Straight. (two spiders)
Left. (shards)
Straight. (shards, spiders)
Straight. (The Brood Mother's spawn point)

There's also another path, but that's longer and a little more dangerous. Plus, I don't feel like going over it!

Coned 56 when we took her out, She RAMPAGES and is Fiarly nasty, Droped the staff. She can be found above the pits, where the harder spiders and Tenticles spawn, she past the first lot of hard spiders and around that corner and spawns at the end of the next hallway. just past where some tenticles sometimes spawn
