they're not a bone head and under todays market they average around 1.5 million to 2 million plat.
for starters, yeah stats and ratio suck but this is meant for twinks and they're generally maxed out anyways but that proc and it's magic only? so you can dw, insane!
secondly the proc gets around the damage cap, easily. it does a lot of damage especially dual wielding as a monkie.
anyyyyways for 95k considering what's available at that level, it's arguably one of the best 1hb usable for bst/mnk until level 45ish

This is a fun chanter item at levels 20-55ish. With Tolapumj robe and self haste, get a shammy dex buff and use dex and HoT and DS potions. It will proc often. Use your color stuns and runes and you can actually solo melee with shiny bob!
This is a very rare item, btw. I've only seen it twice in the Bazaar, and I bought them both. A couple of days ago I bought one for 500p and resold it for 24k within 12 hours because I don't have a toon that can actually use it anymore.

This item NO LONGER procs at level one. It now doesn't proc until level 20, which still isn't terrible ... it is certainly a nice boost for those caster classes that are still holding onto the idea that they are battle wizards. You have another five levels or so to hold onto that dream ... then you can move onto an item with a higher INT bonus, or one that provides you with a decent focus.

Boy, I remember this proccing at L 1 on my alts.. L 17... Your will is not sufficient to command this weapon. :( I'll post what level it is finally useable. talk about nerf.
picked this bitty up in bazaar on drinal while on my mule for 1000pp, saw the name first and clicked thinking I have never seen this up ever in 3 years playing. Low and behold its got a snowchipper proc on it, come to find out it procs at lvl1, with no lvl restrict. I would price this to sell, if I were to sell it at no less then 20k.
On drinal current price of Tstaff is 25-40k still, and that doesnt proc till 30 or 45, A Baton of Royal Stature 11 22 proc 120DD is 25-40k, given this is lower dmg delay, but rare as hell, I would think 20k easy.

Actually at the time you posted t-staff was at a max of 15-20k. Since i started playing i have never seen t-staff above 25k on drinal
I spent 4.9k in the Bazaar for it this week. I don't care what the average price says, it's was worth it. I just made a new cleric and I am taking out red conning mobs with this with little trouble, yellow mobs with ease. Procs around 90dd at lvl 1 and works up to 149 at lvl 30. Considering that it's a rare drop and almost everyone I know has an monk, cleric or int caster alt, I would say if you see it for sale buy it! Took me months of looking to find one. I don't know the proc rate yet as my lvl 5 cleric kills anything she fights with 1 proc but it procs roughly every other kill so far. Considering that fight's don't even last 10 hits, that's pretty sick.

This item has been slightly nerfed but not by much. It now procs at lvl 20. but that's still one of the biggest procs you can get off a weapon at lvl 20 so IMO still worth way more than 3-4k.
Oh, and can beastlords use it? or is the picture up to date?
Does this Still Proc at Level 1?

This weapon procs at level ONE. Yes, level one. Slizther had one on Fennin and I was watchin him duel and he was indeed proccing it at 15 or so. When you're only hittin for 19 without your dmg bonus at low lvls that 150 proc is amazing. Munkeys gettin this usually would have their epics and an SoS or at least a Tstaff by then, so if you see this on a monk it's gonna be on a twink most likely.

If you are using your fists at 50, you need to invest in a tranquil staff =P. 29/32, procs 100 blows, 100 or so pt dd +stun. Sicc damage. Toss haste in and a monk mows down just about anything in his path. (if you can score a ton po's, it gets even sicker, though that probably isn't attainable by purchase =P)

Tranquil Staff is 29/30, unresistable 120dd + stun proc, and is as rare as a snowball in hell.

hahahahahahahahahhahahahaha, damn newbs, things like this make me want to stay away from these boards. at level 50, hands are very good... you don't "need" weapons. in some cases it is good to have them, but you don't just magically get 75k once you get to level 50... not to mention that money isn't easy to come by, you have to get other equipment... i think the average person could prolly get an IFS or RFS at 50 if they sold most of their stuff... and thats only like 20k
other thing, tranquil staffs are nice but me personally (though i don't know a lot about monks) think that the 10 weight on them makes them a little bit of a burden, nevertheless, the proc more than makes up for it.. correct me if i am wrong, but isn't it a 175dd?

I have GOT to be missing something. All this garbage about mnk wt allow 14. Feeeh. Must be important to high mnks as I am only lv9. I regularly carry More than DOUBLE my entire wt allowance and still manage to thump hell out of even to yellow mobs. Sure it slows down my Run Away! speed and gives an AC hit but I still manage fine. Soooo, any mnk wanting to toss this in the garbage just aim it in my direction. 8<)

Don't get used to carrying that much crap around, my friend. yeah sure, at level 9 you're only losing maybe 20-30 points of AC (which is a decent amount BTW), but later levels it really starts kicking your ***. I don;t play a monk, but one of my partners does, and his ac at lv 27 naked is like 500 or thereabouts, with armor it's in the mid 600's, and when armored and overburdened by pHatLeWT (all that silver) he's dropped down to about 425 ish. Being the party cleric, I KNOW when he's carrying too much crap.

frost strike is a 150dd i think alot of monks would love this weapon. the weight may be a little much but by lvl 50 youve gained an extra 4stone to your max load anyways and the dmg that 5 str would do compared to the dmg the proc will do makes it null. but im just a mage with a lvl 35 monk twink so i cant realy answer for the elders infact it would be best if you only let caster roll on it this way ill have a better shot of getting it for my twink anyways :P
Fighting batons, which you can get from Dalnir's crypt at lev 30, are 8/20, 2.0 weight, no hits to STA and STR. The proc is really the only thing going for this weapon, but the weight is a serious issue. In a prolonged battle, the weight drains your stamina quickly.
Of course, by the level you have to be to obtain this item, your fists make a better weapon (especially if you have your epic).
