Can drop Dwarven sap the dwf only usable club, he weilds it. got it twice in a row near warlords camp.
solo means to do something by your self. IE flying solo mean to go by your slef.
can a 56 shammy with 5 aa's solo him?
Got the staff this week. He spawns on the second drawbridge and I have only seen it drop once in all of the years (eq years) I have spent here. Great zone to add AA XP for a soloing 59 Druid.

Myself (53 ranger) and a 37 shaman solod him easily :) Dropped the bones the shaman needed and the bracer thingy. Found him on the second draw bridge, only thing near it was a tiny Drov. Harmonied that, snared skele, then sliced 'n diced while shaman sicks pet and slows. :)

The fact that you killed it with 2 people doesn't really make it soloing, now does it?

My guess is that the shaman was just there to loot the quest bones (needed for shaman spell).

I was in KC tonight duoing with a 59 monk. I was trying to get to warlord, so eventually the monk found him near where the drolvarg warlord spawns, so he pulled him and we killed him. No T Staff. I needed to leave so we were fighting out way out when a sentry agroed in between the to CYs so we killed it, and as soon as we did, another warlord popped right on top of him (this was about 5 mins after we killed first warlord) almost like it spawned from the sentrys corpse. Still no T Staff, but it was cool anyway.

i have never looked for him before , but i would like to know where he is before i go in. And also if u need to kill the drovlarg warlord, where is he?
One last thing, u think a 44 warrior and a full group could take this guy out easily?

With my 55 Druid I have seen him spawn on the second drawbridge many itmes. Takes a few minutes to pull the ones to get to him. I have killed him about 5 times and no staff but I will keep trying. It will be a great gift to my RL GF that has a 49 Monk :). Only takes my Druid a few minutes to snare, pull to the front, root and then dot to death.

One time when I went to help on a Venril Sathir kill he just followed 3 of us out for no reason and we downed him and boom a new Tstaff. :p I didn't win the roll but ah well...
He doesn't hold the staff because he's not a monk mob. Seems old world and kunark mobs (not sure of velious) don't wield weapons beyond their class restriction.
Not in my experience, anyway.
But, I've seen Luclin mobs like Doomshade and Itraer Vius wielding weapons outside of their class... IV was wielding the Fist of Glowing Acrylia one time (monk/bst only) along with some sword I forget.

it isnt very hard to solo him. i was bored one day so i decided to pay a visit to kc. someone had trained skeletal warlord to zone so i decided to see how well i could do against him. i ended up killing him all alone.

How exactly does anyone solo this thing? I'm a 50 monk and I can't do 2 bubles of damage to a weakling little dog sentry before I have to feign and run. I have 944ac and an adamantite club and staff of shielding for weapons, what is the big thing that allows other monks to be able to solo this ****?

I dont know about Monks but as a Beastlord I have been able to solo in KC since 49. Now at 57 I can go in almost as deep as I want without any worries.

That always worked if I was low HP and had him up. Btw I've spent from lvl 50 to 55 in KC grouped, then from 56 to 58 soloing JP forest, then back to KC soloing jail till 59 and doing planar groups till 61 and ive never seen a tstaff ever :( f^ck you all ) in TEH` AS$

The bone chips are for the shaman quest spell canni 2. If you come across them loot them for a shaman you know or offer to shaman in the zone. It can be MQ'd since the other 3 pieces and the final result (the spell) are not no drop.

I was soloing today for the Tstaff for a friend of mine and he camped for the night and i took overcamp, ( friends a monk btw ) and Warlord spawns and first kill he drops T staff and greyish bone chips, whatever the hell those are for, and when he hit me some times when roote breaks he punched, he doesn't show crushes when he has t staff just som FYI

Mobs not to hard to kill ... I spent 20 minutes trying to pull from full pop from ST to Jail< where he was at> when i finally did 2 monks come from no where and KS it so 2 monks did it ;p

Not that tough, did it with a 53 paly, 52 cleric, and 52 druid without much trouble.
