a Sarnak dragoon  

I have a task that requires killing 10 of theme in FM. after over 2 hours looking and killling at the 2 spots I know sarnak spawn I only found one dragoon and it was a roamer. Does anyone know if there is an area in FM that these are more common?

they have helms that are non-drop ive been hit for 61 once, if lower lvl might wana group

i was in a group earlyier today at LOIO back door of sarnak fort and these guy jumped me when i was medding so we killed it gave me pretty decent xp and dropped a no drop lore item that was magic called Sarnak Dragoon Helm its 8 ac and 5 sv magic hehe i switched it with my old scarab helm easily

How's the Experience on these guys? I'm 26th lvl Druid.

IVe killed hundreds of these critters and never have i seen anyone in any of my grps loot a dragoon helm, also ive been killing these singe LVL 19 wit grps that have no one higher thatn 22

My guildie dragged me from my safeplace at the aviaks and paw, to go to Kunark with his ranger friend last night, and got me a group at the sarnak fort. I saw once to the direct left on the inside of the fort at the front door, and one more walking out from the actual fortress, and we killed both. The first conned only blue, and the second yellow. That means blue to a l;vl 23 and yellow to a 23, so 22+. Oh btw: Niether one dropped anyything except some sarnak blood, and some velium ice that I PPed.

Dragoons are ,in fantasy, pretty much super rogues that use spears and polearms and can jump REALLY high

Are these like the DE ones, or what?

as a 25 druid i can solo these things easy they very rarly resist snare and never resist my lightning spell but if they do hit you it hurts believe me so good luck to all you casters out there 8)

The Dragoon in Ill Omen is simply a Sarnak Warrior who hits really hard. I have killed about 6 of these things with a group of low 20's and high teens. They aren't really that hard if you can get him by himself. Good drops sometimes Too. One we killed had a Sarnak Flesh Harvester on him.

these dudes are warriors sure they hit hard.We were camping the top right corner in courtyard and kicking recruits *** n this dude jumped at us with a reverent n his pet.We were a full group of lvl 20 to 26 i was 22 so i soloed the casting pet and we lost a rng n the druid after killing the reverent who s a casting mob same as burynais n spirit calling gobs.Dragoons are not ordenary sarnaks belive me he ran at half hp n called his recruit friends.6 dudes came on us the wizz died so me the sk,the monk n the 2nd rng ran our legs out to the FM zone.So better have full hp n mana to pull 1 of these dudes.BEWARE OF THEM !!!

What exactly are these dragoons? I haven't been over to Lake yet so I haven't had the pleasure of fighting them =) Are they WAR? SHM? NEC? just curious. I like to be prepared, especially when I think I'm fighting a WAR and I get rooted :)

In the overthere the 'dragoons' that everyone refers to when they say, 'Dragoons to xx zone' are the evil outpost dark elf guards, THOSE dragoons hit for 200+ and con level 50 or higher. The sarnak on the other hand are most likely in the level range posted here and are just a warrior version of your run of the mill sarnak. The sarnak dragoons do not drop dragoon dirks, the dark elf dragoons in The Overthere may but I'm not going to take on a level 50+ mob for a chance at some lowbie dagger.
