Eye of Veeshan  

Does not see invis. Level 85 SK harmtouch is enough to one-shot him without getting DT'd..

- Immune to memblur

With a 250 range bow and 170 range arrow, she can be pulled from drake/sphinx island. I expected to be summoned, but wasn't; she came to me.

i have been killing him 3 times a day for over a week now, never missed a spawn. his spawn time is exactly 6.5 hours (6 hours and 30 minutes). i believe i've seen his entire loot table apart from the shimmering pearl, which is why i am camping him.

He also Drops the Pearl on a very very rare chance tho. For you rangers working on the PoSky Bow, he is your final man, Need someone to take DT duh, and if your good dps and around lvl 75ish, he is an easy solo as a ranger with 2.0 and CoA+ weapon. be ready to use teh Hail of Arrows is all I gotta say.

Also drops Mithril Bands for cleric test of the weak.

I have never seen this guy but he keeps useing death touch on me while i am on the 7th island. I dont even have to aggro anything and he kills me. I dont know if he is aggroing me from another island or what but i go to plane of sky all the time on the 7th island and always picking on me yet i never see him. Its like he just watching over 7th island and be like oh a trespasser *loads sniper rifle*

So anybody know whats up with that? where is he hiding? How much dirt could dig dug dig if dig dug could dig dirt?

Ok,..So , imagine ALLLL the posts under this one are NOT there. Pretend that NO ONE is talking about the lore of this butter/dragonfly lookin thing.
Has anyone engaged this guy in combat? Or the hand for that matter? Can you engage in combat with either the hand or eye?
If anyone has actually engaged in combat with either the hand or eye, would it be possible to post your experience here? I am interested in knowing , i dunno, mob crap - like how hard does this thing whack people around for? Any AoE's ? It states in the description that the Eye is always up, while the hand is spawned. Has anyone killed the eye? Is there a respawn time on him? If the hand is up at the same time, do they agro one another? Inquiring minds wanna know .

So while everyone else quibbles about what dragon humped what dragon to create another dragon.....who gives a s***. I could care less if this is his actuall eye , (funny looking eye it would be if it were Veeshans actuall eye, imagine it blinking at you) or a symbolization. I don't care. What i wanna know is, can a group of people lay the smackdown on this thing. And his little hand too. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?



p.s. judging by the fact there is a known loot table , i tend to believe the eye has indeed been killed before.I hope someone can post a blurb about its Melee, magic, HP and tactics to kill. Would love to hear from ya.

hehe i dont play a dwarf but if you read the silmarillion as i have you will see that dwarfs were the first ever created in middle earth after melkor destroyed it a couple times

plus humans were the most powerful race because of numbers and the gift of death which the elves were not given but eventually became increasingly jealous of

okay, this is how the Sleeper came about.

2 Dragons (NOT nagafen and Vox), one Ice, one Fire, mated, and created a Hybrid Child of Fire and Ice made of Light, this Dragon was named Kerafym, as most dragons have a weakness, Kerafym, being made of two elements which both happened to be opposites, Kerafym had NO Weakness, he also excelled in physical combat as well as his magical studies, and his unusual parentage meant he was master of 2 elements.
Anyway, Kerafym soon grew powerful, more powerful then any dragon had ever been, but in his power, he also grew arrogant, and his soul began to darken. now dragons hold respect in high regard, and there ruling Council, The Elders of the Claws of Veeshan faction (First Brood/some of the titled dragons of NToV), but Kerafym treated them with disdain and scorn, and although the dragons knew that Kerafym was alot stronger then them, they decided enough was enough.
Soon after began a war that would ravage Velious, The Claws of Veeshan and Ring of Scale, fought against the Disciples of Kerafym, the battlefields were littered with the corpses of Drakes, Wyverns, Wurms and Dragons, but in the end Kerafym was driven back to his Lair, his Stronghold, within this place, The CoV and RoS found what they decided would be a good place to hold the Dragon, The Wisest of the Dragons gathered, and there Greatest Magic Casters combined there great wills to lay a magical sphere around Kerafym (unbeknownst to them, Veeshan also aided her Children magically, but secretly), Kerafym almost broke free Several times, but with the help of the great dragon Lord Yelinak, he was kept behind the Sphere.
now, 4 warders were chosen to defend Kerafyms lair against intruders, be they Dragon, or one of the lesser races, now, Kerafym was kept behind the Sphere for so long that his name was forgotten, and the knowledge of his existence was a closely guarded secret, for although few knew of hims whereabouts, or even existence, there were a few Disciples left (Melalafen in Western Wastes is one).
Now, The 4 warders were the bare minimum of magic required to sustain the Sphere, and killing them weakend the sphere so that Kerafym could awaken.
Nagafen and Vox were NOT his parents, they were caught doing the wild thing and seperated by Veeshan, trapped within there great caverns, because The Council had made it Law that No Dragon of Different Color shall mate.
anyway, as soon as he is awakened, he goes to Skyshrine to reap his revenge on Lord Yelinak, who was the sole reason he did not escape from the sphere, after that he despawns.

now, I do not know why, but Jaled Dar in Dragon Necropolis starts zonewide shouting when the Sleeper awakens, he says "Finally, my Revenge is here", I do not know why, but I do know that Jaled was eaten by Zlandicar, The Eater of Dragons


(Zlandicar is a Cannibal first brood, Jaled was lured to Zlandicar by his best friend Trakanon)

Alot of the gods have not been seen thats because they dont exsist yet. Planes of power will be coming out soon and i think that will answer alot of questions in the role play of the game, but you are going to have to wait. There also may be lots of other things that will be answered in this expantion like the thing with the dragons. Rumor has it in PoP the lvl cap is going to be increase again I'm not for sure but if it is that only means there would be a better chance to take down a lvl 75 dragon if everyone could max lvls at 70 or even 65 at that, and new levels also means new spells to get hopefully verent will make some sort of conclusion to everquest 1 before they release everquest 2
