Shaman Test of the Witch Doctor  

Upon turning in the 4 quest items for Shaman Test of the Witch Doctor:

Ooga says, 'Your deeds are beyond compare, _____. Use Garduk with care though, for it is more powerful than any other weapon you have wielded.'
You gain experience!


(It took 2 years of regular visits to Plane of Sky to finally get the nobles to drop an Efreeti War Maul so I could finish this quest and get the trophy weapon. Then of course they drop two war mauls. Stupid RNG.)

This quest begins with Medicine Man Veetra in the Efreeti room of the Plane of Sky.

You say, 'Hail, Medicine Man Veetra'

Medicine Man Veetra says 'Good day to you, ______. Are you a shaman of [much experience]?'

You say, 'yes I am a shaman of much experience'

Medicine Man Veetra says 'Then welcome to the tests of the medicine man. I have two tomes, each tells of a shaman of great accomplishment. They are Gina MacStargan and Ooga. Simply tell me the name of the shaman you want to be tested by.'

You say, 'Ooga'

Medicine Man Veetra says 'Return this tome if you wish me to summon Ooga to assist you. Destroy it if you do not.'

You receive the book Alkeme. Give it back to Medicine Man Veetra. Medicine Man Veetra despawns and Ooga spawns in his place. Ooga will despawn in a minute or three, so don't dawdle.

Medicine Man Veetra says 'Farewell.'

Ooga says 'Hail. I have come to assist.'

Medicine Man Veetra says 'I am no longer needed and will take my leave.'

You say, 'Hail, Ooga'

Ooga says 'Huddo, ______, me Ooga. Me make gud medaceen. Me can make tes' for yuz. Me got tes' of shrink, me got tes' of snake. Mmmm, me tink me got anudder... Oh ya, me also got da tes' of witch doktor. Me do trade stuff fo udders too.'

You say, 'tes of witch doktor'

Ooga says 'Oh! Now yuz got in da big mojo, me had big hard time wit dis one. Me got in lot of trouble when me got efreeti war maul, thickened nectar, fire sky ruby an' symbol of Veeshan. Yuz giv to me. Me be easy on yuz an' giv prize me got.'

Note that there are two different gems called Fire Sky Ruby which drop in Plane of Sky -- you want the orange one of WT 12.0.
Turn in the Efreeti War Maul, Thickened Nectar, Fire Sky Ruby, and Symbol of Veeshan to receive your Garduk.

I remembered to search through Ragash's bank, and he still had it. I JUST sent in the screenshot.

It does indeed use the efreeti war MAUL, even though the result is a piercer.

We picked up a Symbol of Veeshan this week from Eye of Veeshan, got a fire sky ruby in guild bank, and mebbe the honey too, not sure on that though....going to do some efreeti runs to try for a club, and hopefully we'll know what this quest reward is finally..... :)

No idea on what the reward is for this quest? Since the info is here, and since it had been rated by 4 people already (at the time of this post), I guess at least 4 people must have completed it. So ... what did you receive?
