It's only Lore on FV. I was asking about it in general chat and someone had collected a couple doing a different epic and they gave me one!

Dropped for me last night 7/14/2019 from a drake. Good luck and happy hunting all.
Dropped today on Selo server off the griffon "an essence carrier". Cleared the first 3 islands with no luck.

Cleared first isle once, moved to azaracks, cleared once then onto gorgalosk isle which I cleared twice and no sign of this blade. Having spent 2 weeks in Fear for another SK epic piece I was impatient and decided to try Pegasus. Pulled a Soul Carrier to northern corner and the blade dropped from an essence tamer (one of the spawns when you kill the griffon).
I decided to update this thread and in doing so I lost the chance to loot the next key piece on my box character (doh!) so I pulled an essence harvester and another blade dropped from a soul harvester. So I would recommend working up to Pegasus for this blade.

I tried this exact tactic. Got to Pegasus Island, pulled a soul carrier (Griffon) to a safe corner. When he died two more mobs spawned both an essence carrier. The first essence I killed dropped the Blade and off the Island I jumped, LOL.
I actually got my BoA for my SK from Gorgalosk after 3 clearings from 1st three isles. It took me couple of days to get one. Once I was done with SK epic, I was trying to get a robe for my necro. While clearing the Pegasus isle and for keeper, I found 3 BoAs in corpses. I recommend clearing Pegasus isle first to get BoA.

The blade dropped for me today off the "Eye of Veeshan" I'm guessing it has a chance to drop off any mob in Sky

Just got this for my sk epic today. Was with my ranger friend helping with his epic too. Cleared the first island and decided to just keep moving on. On the 3rd island a Spirited Harpy was holding the sword outside the little tower. Coned light blue to a 62 lv sk and average hit was around 200. Pulled her and aggroed one of the eye mobs. Careful he has a dispel magic. Canceled all my buffs. No biggie though, killed her anyway!
As a side note we had to end up fighting the mobs inside the tower, they killed my pet (but I managed a comatose). Couldn't revive him. Said "That the spell does not work here." Also couldn't use my drakkin breath ability either. Ranger couldn't use harmony or levitate, but the adds weren't that bad.
Went to forth level and tried to kill the "Overseer of Air". Bad idea folks death touched my Ranger friend for 94,000 pts of dmg. Lmao!!! When you are ready to leave just jump off the side. End up in East Freeport in the water.

Got this for my SK today. It took 12 rounds of killing all the fairies.
Oh, it was on the spirit princess.

Finally got this drop for my sk. Like the posts below say, it took a few wipes of the first island to get this. For 3 days, I would wipe the first island in the morning before work, then wipe again after work, then wipe one more time before bed. On the 3rd day, right after work, I ran around the island to see if any of the thunder spirts were holding a sword and there it was, in the hands of a plain old thunder spirit (not the princess). This particular spirit was hovering above one of the teleport pads but I don't think that matters, I think it could have appeared with any mob there.
Killed the mob, and the BoA was there amongst the tiny swords and rabbits feet.

But just got it off an azrack on the second island.
Ok..probably the hardest drop for me was this one. I wiped all but the princess on the first island once. Then my Enchanter parnter came up to help kill her. We camped there and wiped it again in the morning...then i took a mini raid up there and wiped the Sword island.

well after several months of trying to get this (still have not gotten it to drop) I have been informed the SK epic 1.0 is broken anyway, specifically in The Hole where you turn in the cell key to spawn Kyrenna; her buddy refuses to take the key and she does not spawn. Yay SOE, another reason to be totally annoyed. well time to get some raid forces together to do the Prequest and 1.5
Caradon/Kyrenna has been fixed for a while now.

Been trying to get the Blade of Abrogation to drop for several weeks now. After the 2 server patches (6/13/06 and 6/16/06) I still have not seen this drop. I have seen the monk drop and several class specific haste belts. I have cleared this island at least 25 times now (stopped keeping track after that). This is now bordering on ridiculous for an epic 1.0 drop.

Took me about three days , cleared four islands three times each.

Best way to get this sword, is one of two ways.
Zone up once in a while, check is princess is weilding it.
or
Camp on Pegasus island. They seem to drop it the most.

I've been camping the first island. The princess always seems to be holding the monk treant fists if anything.
The princess has it kind of rarely. But it will be very visible if she does.

I've alsoreligiously gone back to sky after every patch like people have posted here and still nothing. Seems like this is broken or I am having the "worst run of luck" as I saw one EQ dev say; how sad is that.

Still havent gotten blade to drop and to add insult to all of this, I was soloing on pegasus island last nite and was on my way to killing the 5th mob when he summons me off the island behind him and I was right in front of him! I think it take less time to get the resources together and do the 1.5/20 prequest and 1.5 then to keep trying to get this ridiculous drop for 1.0.

Blade of Abrogation in Sky was easiest piece. camped up there on the first island, cleared the fairies then took the princess. they all respawn in roughly 5 hours. also got a cool sk only haste belt. if you have any other 46+ char, camp them up on the first isle. some cool stuff drops (class specific no drop) haste belts, paladin neck, shaman cup, caster bracers, whitened treant fists for monk. on my 10th island clear, the Princess was holding my Blade so took her down..came back 5 hrs later..she had another. ported a guildie up to loot. mob who has the sword WILL BE holding it, so you know that they have it.

This Blade is also dropped by Protector of Sky.
can u use the blade in a MQ turn in?
