Starshine MossI took my 10 "a stillmoon loremaster" yesterday night in 11 rotations in non-instanced zone.
I killed the first kirin (keeper/protector/lorekeeper) on the brigde, the second at the entrance of 2nd room on left (keeper/lorekeeper/protector), and then with Invisibility put on, i ran to the corridor until the final garden where Hei Ling (cleric drake) pop.
Cleaning the garden i killed the 3 kirins on the bridge (watcher/teacher).
One time done i went back the entrance of first garden and i started again the path of killing.
At each attempt i took a Stillmoon loremaster on the final garden. But these don't drop the "Impeccable Kirin Horn".
Good luck on later attempts.

This is the non-instanced version.
If you head north into the house and stay on the 1st level and then head west at the "T" you will come to the gardens. Here 2 kirins spawn on the bridges and 1 spawns in the 1st room to the north (on your right). "a Stillmoon protector" "a Stillmoon keeper" may also spawn instead. At the /loc of +667, +392, +12 any of these 3 may spawn or a named "Wei Zhang". He is trouble if you don't have some DPS. He is a monk I think and mends 50% if you don't take him down fast he will heal himself back. He also stuns repeatly.
If you continue west and take the right path (not the right room) you will come to a 2nd garden. Here 3 more spawn in the gazeebo. The loremaster spawns in the center or the west side or the other 2 kirin. Just to the east, in the gazeebo, a Stillmoon teacher may spawn in place of the other 3 regular mobs. Only 1 mob sees invis when I was wandering around here and he is a goblin by the gazeebo, just west of it so you can avoid him by not wandering around. If you plan to take them, bring a group cause they all aggro and you have about 7 mobs on you at once.
I do not know if this version drops the horn or not or even works for the GM quest but I am testing it now. so far 5 loremasters, 6 other kirins and no impeccable kirin horn.

Hi. I have searched and searched with my druid and can't find these on track in the regular non-instanced zone. I took the infected puma mission and still didn't see any on track when I zoned in. Which mission(s) are best to find these guys and where do they hang out? Thanks very much for the info. I need to kill 10 for the cultural symbol pattern book quest.

They drop off a variety of kirins but you need the loremaster one for DoN cultural quest. Does it have to be in a DoN mission or can it drop from just XPing in stillmoon?
