Sateal Deirosap will buy bat wings for 1 silver (?) from the same monk....

Paineel is the easiest place I have found to hunt bat wings. They all stay in the newbie area and it is small enough that they can be easily seen. The bats here also have a high spawn rate. The part of the zone has bats, rats, and firebeetles. A good place to start your baking trade skill.

I was able to buy several stacks off an Iksar merchant in FoB. Pretty sure they weren't player hand ins.

There are 4 merchants near Cabilis, cant remember which one, but they are all not far from each other...

Any vendor that sells magical components has an infinite supply of these. A good example is the vendor outside and behind one of the banks in shadowhaven. He sells infinite fish scales, bat wings, tiny daggers, cat's eye agate, just to name a few. Once you do the merchant trader (whatever) quest in shadowhaven the merchants will all tolerate you. (Do it a few times and they love you!) Just think casters guilds, and if you find spell components, you might just find bat wings.

I always pick up bat wings and fish scales at the Institute of Arcane Sciences in Freeport, because I sell water-breathing and levitate potions.

Though in the bazaar, I try to keep a stack of ten next to each potion, so that people understand they go together, but never fails, someone comes along and buys all the batwings up and leaves the potions behind. Too bad you can't set up "gift with purchase" as a trader.

I also mark these up to like 1gp each (they sell for like 1s2c) and they still go fast.

I know that you CANNOT buy any bat wings from vendors in Greater Faydark <or all of Faydwer>, but go to EC to buy some... and nothing is wrong with killing bats... at high levels, any spell caster can nuke it and pick up the loot... as a druid, Ignite would so waste them <and anything roaming Greater Faydark> that I would be helping newbies in trouble... and shouting that you want to buy some bat wings isn't that much trouble... believe me, many people don't care for bat wings <especially non-casters>, so just ask for them in return for something <like a rusty weapon or some worthless loot to you, or if you are a caster, then buffs>... not too hard, but then again, I neve use levitate... =) shamans have levitate, too =) ask them for it =)

One of the inns in east commons stocks bat wings for less than 2 sp each. Batwings for over 1pp per stack is just a matter of being somwhere that they are not sold, and finding someone with more money than time. Of course, If you are gonna do that, why kill bats when you can buy a stack for 4gp in East Commons.

I know you can purchase infinite bat wings in the caster guild in Freeport (enter, go straight ahead then left and up the stairs, first femaile mob on your right). I think they can also be purchased in East Commons or perhaps West Commons.

What I'd like to know is where to buy infinite bat wings on the same continent as Butcherblock, in order to perform the bat wing quest for Niola Impholder in the Felwithe Magician's guild.
