This task begins with Sergeant Bronal Cadran in the Oceangreen Hills (1060, -785).
Pre-Requisites for Requesting: - Level 65 - Completed "Man the Defenses" You say, 'Hail, Sergeant Bronal Cadran' Sergeant Bronal Cadran glances at you briefly. 'Was there something you wanted? This has become a rather [dangerous] area and we are having trouble enough without lollygaggers like you hanging about underfoot. Make yourself [useful], before I lose my patience!' You say, 'Dangerous?' Sergeant Bronal Cadran says 'Did you walk here with your eyes closed? Have the raging animals and foul undead somehow escaped your attention? We're in the fight of our lives here and you're asking me absurd questions! If I hadn't sworn the Oath of Loyalty and Temperance to [Commander Bayle] himself, I would cuff you about the head for such idiocy.' You say, 'Commander Bayle?' Sergeant Bronal Cadran says 'Again with the stupid questions? Antonius Bayle is a great man and a great leader, and he is the only one with the strength to bring us through these hardships. He talks of building a city here in these unmerciful hills, a bastion for men to live in peace, but that will prove mighty difficult if we prove unable to defeat the blight that has fallen over this land. Now, are you going to make yourself [useful], or am I going to forcibly eject you from our encampment?' You say, 'Useful?' Sergeant Bronal Cadran grumbles quietly. 'Make it back in one piece and I might be able to scrounge up some more work for you, ______.' You have been assigned the task 'No Cure for Death'. Kill 15 Cultists of Bertoxxulous near the diseased plinth. 0/15 (Oceangreen Village) Numerous Bertoxxulian cultists can be found in Oceangreen Village around the mound outside the Temple of Bertoxxulous. Return to Sergeant Bronal Cadran 0/1 (Oceangreen Hills) You say, 'Hail, Sergeant Bronal Cadran' A decisive blow has been struck against the disgusting Bertoxxulian cultists, but you fear that there may be more where those came from. Your faction standing with Bayle's Irrgulars got better. Your faction standing with Residents of the Glade got better. Your faction standing with Oceangreen Residents got better. Sergeant Bronal Cadran grunts in satisfaction. 'They want to get so close to their god of disease, well, now their wished are fullfilled. I hope they have a long, personal audience with the Plaguebringer. Somehow, I doubt that a god like that much appreciates failure.' Your faction standing with Cirtan, Bayle's Herald got better. I was able to request this on a level 66 character.

You cant solo these at 66 due 2 the fact they root.You can box these but you have 2 be careful as they assist and undead and bear roamers make it harder but its doable.

Today Jan 2nd 2008, I was able to do this quest at level 70.
i was able to request it pre 70 i believe the char was 68 or 69

Could not request this on a level 67 so must be 68 as you say.
It also appears that completign these two tasks flags you for Captain Hiran Tillan, so you can do his tasks.
1) Kill 15 cultists of Bertoxxulous near the diseased plinth
2) Return to Sergeant Bronal Cadran

The MOB's you need to kill are in Oceangreen Village all around the "mound" at the zone in to the Temple of Bertoxxulous.

After you complete the secone task (this one) and say 'useful', you will have the choice to pick either task. So they are repeatable after you complete both. Man the Defenses and No Cure for Death
There is a 3 hour lock out after completing this task
