HAW f@ck SOE, I'm so tired of this BS. I went through the whole 2nd quest and it took me about two hours to do for my 2 chars from the evil NPC. Then I go to turn in the stuff for the reward and it turns out that it is bugged. Same with the 4th armor quest from this guy it will not record me looting the items from the mobs when I do so after that I figured I would do the 'good' armor quests that I can not complete from the bad side. However Igok will not speak to me when I hail him, jesus !#%!@# I'm so pissed off right now after I invested time into completeing AQ 2 & 4 and petitioning about my problem I got a reply of:

I have checked the issue and found that it is a known bug and this quest is not working correctly at the moment. This quest begins in Plane of Knowledge with V`Lynn Renloe (good side armor quest giver at location 779, 454, -159, although he is neutral and will give quests to anyone).
The task steps are as follows, beginning in Innothule Swamp: 1. Speak with Igok (-322, 526) You say, 'Hail, Igok' Greetings dry lander. I see that you have the mark of Master V`Lynn upon you and the fire of righteousness burning within. So you are here to prove your worthiness to your Master, yes? Very well...sometime ago I sent a young one webbed warrior southwards to find his destiny. He has not returned and I fear the dangers of the swamp were too much for him. Find out what has happened to him. In addition, you will be charged with the tasks he could not accomplish. You must prove your perseverance by returning with two chunks of meat from the bull alligators that prowl these waters. The swamp, rich with decay, now spawns abominations of nature. Slay five fungus man guardians. Lastly though we have vanquished all but a few remaining trolls, a new annoyance has sprung up. Several kobolds have been seen North East recently, no doubt scouting out new locations for them to set up camps. Seek out and slay at least eight of these burly kobolds so they will trouble us no more. Return to me once you have done this. 2. Loot 2 Gator Meat from Bull Alligators 3. Deliver Gator Meat to Igok 4. Kill 8 Kobold Hunters 5. Find out what happened to T'lok ("a fallen froglok" on a small island in the southwest at -1754, 586) 6. Kill 5 Fungus Man Trackers 7. Tried twice during different character time lines. (First time mid teens and Now level 50 druid)
Confirmed it is still bugged. Igok will not speak in order to initiate this trial.

Finding T'lok's body was a pain in the butt, and I kept getting whacked by some wandering troll, but overall it wasn't too bad. If you know where you're going and what you're looking for, this quest can be done in an hour or so. Most of my time doing this one was spent looking for bull alligators. The best advice I can give is to train your swimming score to the max BEFORE starting this one. At least 20 minutes of the total time I spent doing this quest was due to my lousy swimming score (zero when I started it, 53 by the time I got done). The gloves were worth it, though.

In the Innothule Swamp at loc P733 P448 is a smallish island. If you set up there you will have Bull alligators, Kobold Hunters and the Fungus trackerman(or similar name) mobs wandering by regularly. Once I found this spot, it took about 40 minutes to kill and loot all the needed items. This was soloing as a level 12 Magician with Pet.

It's got to be a bug. We killed so many bulls and got lot's of gator meat, but no chunks of gator meat.
That's because it isn't a chunk of gator meat, it is a Chunk of meat.

I just killed 40 bull alligators and got teeth, gator meat pristine hides but not a single chunk of meat, how do you finish this quest when it does not drop (does not even show the meat listed here as a drop)?

If you stand in the middle of the island with the hand and fallen tree and kill EVERYthing that walks across the island you get a few bull alligators I killed the island my partner killed everything in the water around it and dodged Bsher took us about an hour on a level 15. Tlok is The fallen froglok is the dead frog south if Ilok on an island
After trying to do this quest a couple times and either finding no bull alligators or no meat on the few I did find, I finally went to see what quests Barrenzin had, Barrenzin is the evil races armor quests npc. He had a second trial quest too but this one was MUCH easier, it was called Venom something. I highly recommend that if the good side quest is too hard or you're too impatient, see what Barrenzin has. There are no negative faction hits, or positive ones for that matter, and they are soooo much easier. Afterall, it's easier to be a bad guy than a good guy ;) tehehe

So I killed 2 bull alligators and each had a chunk of meat. I gave those to Igok and got the next stage, but the part about looting them is still showing that it isnt done?

Just so ya all know, after fruitless hours (ok - long minutes) of searching in innothule swamp for the Bull Aligators, i found that if you kill all the light and dark blue conning mobs in the NE corner of the zone (kobold hunters, froglok foragers, large water moccasains, etc) that the Bull Aligators DO actually spawn - and if you are high enough level, you can just pop over to South Ro and do the 3rd quest, provided that you have spoken with V'Lynn and gotten the flute to turn in - just watch out for those ghouls and DBS's - they are a killer!!!
Igok is located on the giant hand in the west central part of the swamp, never has been in a tree.

Troll Slayers roam around and were LB & DB to my lvl 12 and the LB ones were beating on me like a 15 plus, had to zone.. and theres a Dark Elf guy yellow to me in NE area also, avoided him after a tussle, and he was surprisingly not as tough as the Troll's but would have bested me anyway... good luck with this one..the swamp is a tough place to get around in.

Just finished it for Froggie Shamen...got, Gauntlets of the Yun Initiate 6ac 6sta..not horrible but did the first one and got a real nice bracer ..4ac 5wis 5svcold..which reminded me of the original class specific quests like to Ro armor etc..6ac 6sta ok but if had a nice save would of been a bit better ...quest was kind of hard due to the fact that those darn bull aligators are semi rare and i had to kill around 15 of em or so for 2 chunks of meat...still fun though...omw to do the next one!
