Gloves give 9% haste at lvl 8 not 10%.the mex haste they give is 9% and thats at lvl 8

Ok, what is the regen on these guys? I have a 22 Warrior and tried to solo one of these.

I first started out with my Earthen Blade (26/50) and could barely put a dent into him. 2HS is maxxed and I missed a lot and he stuns so inbetween hits he would just regen his HP back up. Tried this 3 times and never got him below 80%, I would run when I got to 40%.

The next few times I tried dual wielding. This time I was able to get him to 60% before I had to run (down to 30% each time, 4 tries).

I would try using Bash to stun him but I need a much better 1HS to do this. Currently using the HLF newb sword (yeah, I know I need better weapons but this is my main and I can't afford better yet). He tends to hit me in the 30's and he double attacks a lot.

Guess I need to get an ally if I want to tank one of these guys.

this is cake , its easy to tell if one of these guys has the sword , before you even kill them , the Sporali Defenders Blade is a yellowed lightsource , much like a fire beetle eye only way brighter , all ya gotta do is wait till ya find one with a strange yellow glow emminating from him and kill it , it has the blade every time.I have gotten 6 of them over time , and they used to fetch a pretty penny.

It IS a lightsource like the post says , so powerful infact youll get a yellowish glow about you if youre not carrying another lightsource , EVEN if the sword is inside a bag , and also , with the color scheme down there the glow is hard to tell apart from the zones natural ambient lighting , best way to tell is to wait for them to start walking , if the light moves with them , they have the blade.

the blade does drop off of the Defenders.I picked one up myself couple of days ago. It is possibly not as rare as moldmaster but it still does drop

I was just walking through here one day and I saw a corpse of one of these guys laying there and I looted it and It had the blade it is 17dmg 37 dly 1 handed slasher.

I've killed a _lot_ of these little suckers, and no blade. Got one off the Moldmaster though. Course, also got no gloves off of them, so take that as you may, I guess. I could just be unlucky, but I'd guess the blade only drops off the Moldmaster.

Was down here with a 37 SK guildy, and we pretty much purged the zone... i don't know the spawn rate/initial number of these things, but i do know we killed a LOT of stuff that day. no moldmaster, but we DID get 2 of the defenders blades to drop off the defenders.

i am a 50 warrior its easy to just camp this whole lvl but sence there is like 5people in the zone at all times doesn't realy bug any 1

I heard there is such a npc called The Sporali Moldmaster , who drops the Sporali Blade commonly, on the 3rd level, is this true?

Yes, the Moldmaster spawns on the 3rd lvl and does drop the Sporali Defenders Blade, 17/39 i believe and Paladin/SK only. He appears to be on a 2 hr or so spawn clock.

I took my Lvl 23 monk down to the 3rd floor to check these out. It was a lot easier since they were "dubious" and didn't attack.

Some of these con'd yellow to my 23 monk, so they may be as high as 25th. Went down there three days in a row to verify, and saw a total of two that were yellow (out of 9 total).

I believe that this creature drops the Sporali Defenders Blade. A 17/37 1hs Paladin Shadowknight only weapon.

Yup. And impossible to obtain (as a drop) on most servers because this lil guy is being camped by selfish 50+ players 24/7. Of course, it's their God Given Right to camp and farm everything new, even creatures OVER 30 levels below them...

Bah, you're just jealous because you can't farm. I went down there for equipment that I could use, my 1hs stinks and this is a decent weapon to get it up with. Just because a high level is killing something doesn't mean he won't use it. I hate newbies that whine about higher levels camping something, even if they are just farming for cash. We have just as much right to it as you do. You'll do it when you get high level too, and you'll hate newbies just as much as I do.

Actually, these guys are random wanderers and they are all over the Sporali area. I've killed dozens of them with no drop though. You can't really camp and monopolize a spawn in RE anymore. Everything has been randomized. I've seen Lord Pickclaw spawn in half a dozen different places. Jut get a group and claim a corner or hallway in the Sporali area, you'll get plenty of defenders to kill.
