Lost KEI took him to 28% 61 Air pet at 10% I had 20m Gated..... didn't realize he as 58 level was a decent fight nothing crazy, should have debuffed him, all dd's stuck good just not enough mana balance for heals and dd's maybe next time Gemy Epic 62 Mage Lanys
Just dropped him tonight. I am a 61 shaman, and I was with a 53 warrior. It was a long fight. He dropped a barbed ringmail and a cold steel helm. Both were upgrades for the warrior.
This guy dropped the arms for my group the other day and I cant believe what happened. We did a alpha loot roll and the rouge in our group won. Well groupleader tells him that he cant have them because they are lore and hes already wearing them. He keeps saying over and over can I have my arms please, so the rest of the group inspect him, and we say your already wearing a pair you cant have 2 of the same lore items. He continues to ask for them send sends a group member a tell and asks whats lore? He then goes on to say that he has his alt in velks and since he did win they are his and he will log on his alt to collect them. You will not believe this. He sends a tell from a character that is anon and says he will be there shortly. This guy shows up as a level one wizard. The whole group was like this is total bs. I myself was like no way. After lots of bickering we gave him the arms. He logged his main back on expecting to get back in the group we tell him, no ebayers allowed. I just cant believe that people like him play.
Just out of curiosity. How exactly did this guy manage to get a level one wizard up to the kobald village???? And even if he could get there lets say his invis dropped providing he could put, item etc.. invis on him, wouldn't the aggro range have been insane?
back when my wiz was lvl 55 i was grouped in seb and a rogue won the roll on a froggy robe while i was wearing a crystilin robe er something, anyway he was like who cares about nbg i need money and i was like err ok and gave him the robe and then i didnt wine cause its only a game. ended up about a week later i got my silk ss robe <Phat>

Thank you sir, you have bee ROLOWNED. Go get the power up Sally.
Well Roladan, you must be a greedy person than.. Most mature people would go with Need Before Greed. But I guess you don't believe that. I think that the guy that won them and than gave to his "1ST" lvl alt should have been more considerate to the group.. I am sure that someone in th egroup could have used it a lot morethan his 1st lvl character.
Was this a serious question? If so, from a lvl 60 warrior? If so, from a lvl 60 warrior who lvled his toon himself? Perhaps a 60 druid or a 60 necro with plenty of peridots and bone chips could take him.
Its not a shadow rapier? You mean Ive been camping this guy to get my shadow rapier for jboots for NO REASON? awww man. Oh well, gained 10 levels in the mean time.
Velktors was upgrade in one of the more recent patches. Now lvl 60's can even get exp off the bottom spiders. The drops and there stats have also been upgraded.
A frenzied Broodling- seems to spawn at random around the upper level ramps of spiders at the entrance. Have killed it twice and both times have gotten, Crystal chitin hand wraps or something like that. Stats are 5ac 3sv all effect HASTE all all. Some say its equivalent to Sash of the Dragonborne haste.
Also have seen Crystal Eyes drop Crystal Chitin Guantlets a few times. Stats are 20ac 10str 30mana. All but pure casters can wear.
As for the kobald camp...Barbed ringmail was upgraded from 25ac 35hps 6str to 30ac 50hps 9str. Also Spider fur collar is now 10ac 9fr 9pr 9str all all.
On VZ, Velktors is turning into the KC of Velious. Kinda suxs, i would rather have the zone just to my group.=P
As of the patch on 6/27/01 Tpos has had his loot upgraded. The new armplates are AC 18, the new BP is AC 30. I believe some stats may have been added also but I can't recall. This armor is incredible for Rangers and Rogues, just a notch below Kael quest armor in the AC department.
About Tpos - He is a ShadowKnight, level 58. He has a nasty harm touch but shouldn't be an issue if you pull him solo or with only 1-2 friends. He has a couple of wierd dots that he likes to cast, but all in all pretty much a straight melee fight. He hits moderately hard (less than 300). A warrior with defensive should be able to tank him no problem. Hell I tanked him with no defensive after using it to pull 4 kobolds away from his spawn. He's not that hard.
The best way to pull him is once you reach the little village area is to start pulling from your right around the room. Pull should be like this:
1) From entrance - Single mob directley to your right. 2) From entrance - 3 mobs around a campfire. 3) From campfire - 2 mobs inside the hut by the campfire. 4) From the hut - 4 mobs from the hut and tree (this is the top of the room now) 5) From the hut - Tpos and 1 friend.
At level 56 this is what I was able to get. I was using sneak to try and lower my aggro radius also, but it didn't seem to matter much (but who knows I may have had more adds without it, so your milage will vary). If anyone has a better method, please let me know :)
If anyone doesn't know how to get to the "village" area, this is how you do it:
1) Clear the spider ramps at the front of velks all the way to the top. Try not to fall off, but if you do its not a big problem, just walk back. There is an alcove at the top with an ice crystal globe hanging out of the wall (maybe its a light, who knows). If you go around the corner you will come to a fake wall. 2) Go through the fake wall very carefully as it is slick (so is the rest of the path until the village). Go *straight* out and drop onto the blue ball above the kobold pits. 3) Walk across the blue ball (going straight still) until you reach the ascending ramp on the other side. Climb the ramp and gain access to the ledge. 4) From the ledge it is fairly straight forward as there is only one path. Move slowly and angle your character to avoid falling off the path that turns around and doubles back over the huge ball that you dropped down to in step 2. 5) At the top of the last ascending ramp there is another fake wall. If you move slowly through it and stop about 4-5 feet on the other side you will see the village and be completely out of kobold aggro.
Tpos spawns in the hut to the back and left of the tree in the middle.
There is another fake wall here that I believe leads to the Velks courtyard area, but honestly I haven't explored it yet.

Tpos conned even to a lvl 58 and is extremely hard but doable by one high 50's group. He always seems to spawn in the 1st tent on the left in the kobold camp and has a ph. Common drop is Barbed Ringmail BP AC 25 str 5 hp 25. Havent seen a rare yet. Hope this helps.
We killed him 3 times today -dropped bp twice and arms once--I wona and sold arms for 14k on mith marr. This guy is a sk so send in your puller with cels heal alrdy on him to avoid the hard hits....Also slow his **** and he is extremely easy...and as always just push him to interrupt casting Scorpionb Smiter of Mith Marr 53rd Paladin
