Spawned in the little eastern alcove in the passageway at p1080 p90. Dropped like a sack of spuds by my tank merc (I'm level 48) - not a special level 38 by any means - and the loot was the Frost Covered Tome.
LOL my group has killed this dude more times than i can count every time has dropped the dang tome finally its my turn to get it (36sk) and the POS drops the shield i get shield by default since only other person in group that has an sk just paid 500pp the day before to have it but im still fumin I WANT THAT TOME!!!! oh well my destiny will be realized if i gotta live on this floor till i get it so be it lol. Btw group consisted of 33 cleric, 36 sk (me), 39 wizzy, 45 sk, and 49 druid unfortuanately he popped right behind me and i was the 1 and only casualty of the day since cleric and druid were both low mana at the time
I was waiting for the 5th floor key from Cara tonight, and Narmak popped right in the room. He was a bit of a struggle as I got an add with an oozing flesh. Dropped nothing ( ESGE 55 Preserver
A group 30-40 could get to him, but the fourth floor is just plain nasty to fight on. There are very few (if any) safe places, and a combination of undead/non-undead (I wouldn't call them living) to make invisibility only somewhat reliable. You MUST have a dedicated healer, and preferably 2. I would suggest having an evac ready and some means to enter the tower to the fourth floor again should you all get wiped out.
also, you MUST have a cleric. unless you have a 60 druid as your main healer, a cleric is needed. The amount of firepower the shadows and Cara Omica have is insane, and a druid just can't keep up with the healing. A druid secondary healer would definitely be a nice thing to have, cleric would be better, but a druid would more than likely do just fine. We raid ToFS quite often, it's quite an interesting zone. My first trip to the second floor was amazing, it's quite beautiful.
ROFL. A lvl 60 druid? We went with a grp of 5 and had 2 druids but only one had to heal occasionally. The only thing rough about this floor is you have to move quickly because so many adds. You guys must have had one weak tank. Good luck moving up.
probably, assuming you have all the keys to get to L4... thats the hard part. With an Invis to undead/camo combo, you can go anywhere in this tower. Levels one and two require IVU, then before going to 3 strip IVU and cast regular Invis. You can run all the way through 3 and 4 invisible, I know 4th floor looks like you need IVU, but trust me it's regular invis!

Haha, you people are hilarious, I've solo'd the whole place before. The only real trouble is tserrina, but my epic took most of her blasts. I'm a 56 wizard.
Dropped this dude twice tonight, got the book once and the shield once... 51 Warrior liked the book for range slot so I presume its a decent item for all u bashers out there...
After popping into level 4's entrance room, you go to the right. Ignore the first Alcove to the right, with the mummy in it...and travel forward. There is a pair of Alcoves with Shadows in them, and a secret illusion wall heading forward. Through this illusion wall there are 2 more alcoves. Narmak frequently spawns on the Left Alcove. His other spawn point, in my experience, is the alcove to the LEft, just before the Mirror to Level 5.
Of Note, 3 Kills on Narmak: 1 Frost Tome, then nothing, then a Shield of Shadows.
I just wanted to let you all know that this mob loads on floor 4. pretty common drop is the frost covered tome. He also drops a Shield of Shadows. But that is very rare.
