I hate these things because they are nasty and cheap they are like monks, wizards, druids they dont cast dots but bonds of force with really sucks but if you got like a rouge with a str buff behind it there no challenge.
But beware of the way they pop up right in front of you and get creamed. Lvl 47 paladin Eenen Server Rodecet nife.

I am sure everyone but me knew this already, but I was main tanking these guys and went to switch my view to try and get a better angle to target (F9), and I missed and hit F8 instead...it automatically targeted the closest MoB.
Needless to say, this was a HUGE help to me, and I wanted to make sure others knew about it. It's very handy when you have a mob who's juping around a lot too.
Our group got mixed up with a couple of these, 3 mummies and an ooze. Our Chanter and Necro went down hard and fast under a flurry of nukes. Only the fact that our tanks, myself and another, were Paladins saved us from a complete wipe out. We both used LoH and our Cleric and Druid were completely OOM before the fight was done. 2 min later our Cleric almost bought it while we we're medding for rezzes. 2 more Shadows jump us and had him down to 2 Bubbles of health in short order with a pair of nukes. Dmg range was 200 to 400. High MR is a must here!
i've never fought one of these, but to say their dmg range is 200-400 is insane unless maybe you're talking about their nukes; there's no way a low 30s mob is gonna hit for that much in melee but most of ya know that. just talkin to the young whipper-snappers
Um, yes, he is talking about their nukes, which is why he said "MR is a must here".
I was surpsed to see that these are lvl 32, because they seemed harder htan the Librarian on the 2nd floor, who's lvl 35 and also a caster. However, these things seem to have a nasty habit of coming in groups, and I don't think our enchanter's mezzes were working as well on them.
Fought more of them than I care to think about last night. I learned that in order to get the exit on the fourth floor of the TOFS, you have to have the 4th floor key, as it is behind a locked door.
This was a problem because the one with the key was my main, who swaped items with my warrior then gated out. We finally were able to get rescued by a guild druid who had the Master key.
These things are the toughest things to mez with 2 groups with you. Not only can you not get them to stay on one mob but you can't even see where they are and which one you clicked. This is hell for an enchanter
Ok the shadows dont see through invis which is a live saver cause these guys are alot harder than they look. Cause the look like nothing (drum roll please)
heheh sorry for the lame joke, but no they dont see through normal invis.
Does anyone know if these little guys see through invisiblity? Want to know if i can get to caras room straight after her spawn without having to fight these guys in between.
Its hard to stop these guys gating when soloing especially with no stun
