Words of Dark Paths three more times. . .Words of Suffering x 2, Words of Efficacy, Words of Convocation. . .several other sets of words. I'd now say that the Ry'Gorr Centurion drops just about any kind of Words used for level 29-39 spells.
I killed several more centurions this morning and got Words of the Dark Paths. Now I just need Words of the Haunting and I'll have all the words I need for my level 33 pet spell.
I killed one today and it dropped Words of the Suffering, which surprised me, because I'm looking for Words of Haunting, Words of Dark Paths, and Words of Suffering for my level 33 pet spell.
Do you think a 36 mage could take them down one at a time? I summon a pet that doubles for 32 pts. of damage, has 850 hit points. I can nuke for about 330 (takes down almost 20% of my mana pool) and another nuke that does about 290 each. I can gate out if needed hehe.
Should I look for a healer partner? I dont want to really have more than two people, because then I don't have guaranteed loots. Should I look for a tank? Or a bard? Or should I just get my new spells in three levels?
If you can get one on it's own then you should have no trouble...
If you want a partner then either a Bard or Cleric is best so you can camp the Orc Camp at the base of the Ice bridge to Iceclad from Eastern Wastes making sure to lull the mystic in the centre and pulling one of the four centurions that surround him.
Also the zone is handily close...
As a level 38 bard I can solo these with ease though I don't match up to them in melee a combination of dots and slows takes them down steadily if slowly. The loot (over 5 platinum each) makes it worthwhile
Yes, these guys definitely drop Orc Fang Earrings. We got one after killing about 6 orcs. They also drop from about 8 gold to 4 pp in cash as well as rygorr scalps and words and runes. Havent seen any Ry'Gorr Armor drop off them but I've only killed about 15. BTW, I am a 36 Shammy, my 37 Pally friend and I can take these pretty easily.
The first one I fought dropped a "Velium Great Staff", a ruin and a Ry'Gorr scalp. Anyone know what the scalps are for?
Maybe you can turn them in at High Keep where you turn in the other orc scalps.
BTW he was dark blue to me (level 40 ranger) and he only took me down by one bubble. Though I use 3 bubbles of mana. I don't think he resisted a single snare, root or lightning spell.
Believe me, having 198 wis as a druid at lvl 30 is not necessarily a sign of a twink. From playing a druid, I've found that there are many restrictions on certain wis items for the class, and the very low cost on some pieces will balance out the costs of better pieces. For example, Splitpaw Gloves are very inexpensive and are one of the best cheap non-no-drop wisdom gloves. Especially now with the addition of the Bazaar, it is much easier to buy good items at low prices. When you inspect druids, expect to see a lot of the same equipment.
The higher level ones con blue to me at 45 and hit HARD. They double attack and can if im not carefull take me down to 2 bubbles of health. IMHO these are tougher than SolB kobolds for the same level.
The lower level ones are Green to me, and are very easy. I loose half a bubble of hps at most on them.
Coin loot varies from 5sp on the lowest levels to 5pp on the higher ones.
im a lvl 33 paladin. Is it possible that i could solo cents or possibly scouts, i saw a camp near the bridge so i think there may be an easy escape. Plus i want to get some ry'gorr stuff without having to roll.
The Ry'gorr armor isn't drop by these guys. Its dropped in the big orc camp in the middle of EW by the bigger orcs like the CHief, Legos and oracles, etc..
Have no idea about the scalps, we usually destroy them. But, don't the orcs also drop orc fang earrings? Just wondering... Anand Skyhowler-40 Tunare Server Crusaders of Honor
