Soloed HIm and his buddies with my Necro. Got my little warrior a full set of this armor. They aren't to hard. My pet can take one of these guys and an add with no problem.

im a 64 mage and i can solo him...however it takes about 95% of my mana. I was wondering if anyone knows how often they actually drop bp/legs

My guild paid these dorfs a little visit to farm some armor and get Kael faction.
Well, as fate would have it, I won the roll for every single piece that dropped. I was first to get the helm, boots, gaunts, greaves, bracer and vambs. When plate dropped, I won the roll but let the highest level tank there loot it cuz he needed it. It was so funny winning every single roll. I just wish it would happen when killing frenzied ghouls.
I look spiffy in my new turquoise armor. I guess I'm ready to hunt in San Francisco or Key West.

I was playing as my pally when this guy was pulled by the main tank of my guild. He was blue to me, and we dropped him about 5 or 6 times, same with Scots. Dropped BP about 2 or 3 times, legs all the other times. BP is probably the rarest drop of all in this zone. just my 2cp

Sometimes 54 and sometimes 55 I think. Once in a great while I get a Watcher Scots/Devin that enrages (lvl 55). Most of the time it doesn't. Doesn't always drop legs/BP. Sometimes you just get money (I've had 20pp drop before), a spell, shield, and axe. Got to love the ones that are dual wielding too.
Edit. I was wrong. Had the 56 cleric con one that was enraging and it was in fact 57.

dont really need 2 groups, our guild did it with 7 people, highest lvl being 57, most of us around lvl 54

Do not. Takes 2 people. I kill with my cleric and my monk friend all the time. Pulling him is the hard part. Best way to pull is have a monk slap one, run out and turn corner and then FD. Wait for them to split and feign-flop out of the castle. I even tag it with my cleric.

I have been hunting here for several days now attempting to get the armor. And recently our group led by a Cleric Named Powa on Tunare had a break through.
The typical way to get to the watchers who drop the BP and Greaves, is to kill everything else that stands in the way, then have a monk pull the watchers and Paxin and feign death till he can get just one. We all realize how annoying it is to keep the place clear when all you want is the watchers. Well Powa found the a spot where you can get just the Watchers and Paxin.
You may have already guessed that this spot is in the room with the counsilors and the sleeping sentry ellison. We tried this one day only to get wrecked when the councilers respawned while we were fighting a watcher. The secret is to get in the top right corner of the bleachers and pull the watchers there. The counsilers are a joke if you are ready for them. Nothing will aggro from this spot and you can break the watchers spawn and pull others at your leasure. Get in this spot for a few hours and multiple greaves will drop as well as a BP or two. Thanks to Powa i got my greaves and know where to camp my BreastPlate. For those of you out there tired of Newbs begging for the left over armor go to this spot and many won't know you are there.
I'm sure we were not the first group to do this but at least in all my time on tunare i have never seen anyone else try it even though there are groups there most of the day. Hope this helps.

Hey on the Tallon Zek server the guild i'm in (Blood Guardians) comes here all the time. We are all going for Kael Faction so some of us that cannot use this armor come anyways....our system is very easy....everyone gets invised and we run through the castle to a set of bleachers where we all sit and wait. Slowly but surely the monk FD pulls the watchers and/or sleeper and/or council to us in the bleachers....With our system that is almost air tight or what i think is perfect we have gotten around 15 legs/boots/gloves, 10 arms, 10 bracers, and i believe 3 breastplates. Basically our if you see our guild you can see Royal Velium somewhere.

I figured out a way to pull singles perfectly =) First off you muct have at least dubious faction. Second off your beg skill must be at 20+ or so. If you haven't already figured it out all you have to do is go up to the mob you want to pull and beg from them. Once they are agroed on you DO NOT hit them or be prepared to have more than a single pull. Also I have not been able to single pull Devin. So clear the way to Devin, including the other watcher and sentinel near him. When everything is clear than you can pull Devin =)

GREAT Dungeon which poses many different challenges. Two Teams can pull the entire castle up to the Royal Court with Tremendous Success.
Watcher Scots and Devin common drop the Greeves, RARE drop the Breast plate. When pulled, they usually bring Sentinel Paxin with them. Fortunately, Our guild has perfected in single pulling these guys to our camp spot.
Devin and Scots still havent coughed up a Breastplate yet, lots of greeves though. No matter, we will come back and torment them once again.

Does this guy drop the Ancient Tarnished Plate for Kael Drakkal Armor quests?
I believe, unfortunatly, that the ancient tarnished plate drops in the north wing of the Temple of Veeshan. I'm absolutly positive that this guy doesn't drop it. It's gonna be a long haul to get to north ToV.

Dunno, he was Red to my 53 Warrior and Yellow to a 54 Shaman when we went there tonight...
He can be pulled to zone with a full spawn in the way if you really want the Royal Frosted Velium Legs...As long as your not KoS, buff up completely rune and everything, run up to him and smack him a few times till rune breaks, then train him back to the zone, make SURE he is with you the whole way, zone, have a friend still there hail him at the zone, and he will not move. Zone back in, and wait for train to leave =) Make sure the 2 spawns at the gate are clear though, can pull them the same way.
He was hitting for 180s max and becomes ENRAGED when low on hps, my group (52 Enchanter, 52 Cleric, 54 Shaman, 52 Shaman and 53 Warrior (me) Got him to 2% Chain runeing me and heals from everyone.
he is VERY MAGIC RESISTANT, resistant to everything at that, we couldnt get him slowed.
Dunno much else about him, his friend Scots is missing his vocal cords he says.

Since the last Patch the Dwarfes will no longer stop if you Hail them. With the high Magic Resistence its not possible to have any Crowd Control.
