Is it me or does this have exactly the same stats as the Engraved Royal Velium Field Plate?

Sorta kinda, except this stuff weighs a ton more and cant be used By Rogues and Rangers.
wrong item, sorry hehe. Got this confused with the Royal Velium Field Plate.

I have been camping this gear for my Twinks, I have looted 3 complete sets. The BP's and Legs were all from Watcher Scott not Devin.

I got told to go come to this zone and get some armor. hehe yeah right... i sat in icewell for about a week and no one came in to kill guards, for the better part of on 5 hour wait i was the only person in the zone. now that im up a bit in lvls i'm gona try to get a few pieces. hopefully some one will let me loot boots or bracers heck i'll even settle for just sleaves.

I would really like this armor but it seems everyone on Brell Serilis server is on good faction with the Coldain. Everyone I've asked so far doesn't raid this place. If you are on Brell server and can help me get this armor that'd be great! Send a tell to me, or add to post.

Brought my level 1 warrior (Three 60 Druids and a 59 Wiz escort.) and We went down, got me the whole suit.. (Took four days). Wiz dinged when he joined a Dain raid, and over-and-all, very nice, considering my warrior is now level 44 and STILL using this stuff. (Soo funny to go to EC and have people ask questions on how such a low level got the armor)

think about it.. ogres eat dwarfs, armor is almost too heavy for anyone else, it's a natural match. finally something I can go get w/o camping for a year for a suit..
also it is fairly easy to get and GREAT for IKS for they can wear it!

when you kill a dwarf in this zone does it give you bad faction with coldain??
No, the little dwarves like it when you kill their brethren. I remember this one time I went into Thurdadin and stole some strength from Guard Dagyr, well he and his compatriot ran up to me and I was about to make a hasty retreat, when Guard Dagyr starts slashing at me, but his friend puts away his weapon and starts cheering. Well, Dagyr was a bit of a pushover to me (at 50) so I quickly removed his head... damaging it in the process... no giant would accept it as valid proof I slew him. Anyway, instead of then avenging his friend, the other guard patted me on the back and went back to his post... it was amazing.
Wait, what am I talking about, yeah, killing dwarves lowers faction with Coldain and Dain Frostreaver IV and raises faction with Kromrif and Kromzek.

try any fire spell and you will hit 9 out of 10 times for full dam
i am 54 mage and had lots of fun with scars of sigil nuked the crap outa them dorfs
enchanters on the other hand cannot land spells but clarity speed and boon of the garou are usefull, we did very well here with 47 tank 52 chanter 44 cleric 52 wiz and myself 54 mage,
btw jibantik taunts better than the tank poor tank could not keep agro, go jibantik
in few hours we got few pairs gauntlets boots bracers some spells and the 6 wis cha neckpiece effect alliance damm hope i win the roll

I saw someone in a full set of this stuff, a dwarf. It looked pretty cool on him imo. I'd like to get some of this stuff as well as some guardian stuff from SS =^). But that is wishful thinking for the time being. Oh, and to all of you with this stuff minus the BP and you are clerics... IT LOOKS LIKE POOPEY WITH THE ETHEREAL MIST BP! YOU LOOK LIKE A BIG H-MOE!!!!

On luclin the groups that are fighting in icewell keep usually always let you loot what they dont want if you ask them nicely and dont get in their way. This would imho make it easier to get than planar gear depending on your level

Sorry man! you said you were lootin gthis at level 1. I think you are lying. I mean just trying to get to Thurgadin.... it is tricky enough at level 30. especially since you can't port in....

Ya it is extremely easy to get there with a lvl 1, especially if you have luclin because just port in from spires get a sow and run..not that hard...just dont directly into any giants and dont take a wrong turn into shardwurm den )
I got my level 2 ogre warrior here for the coldain military wristguards quest =) it's easily done.

I also have a level 1 halfling rogue I use as a mule in Thurgadin, so don't belittle the guy who claimed he couldn't get there..
I have a level 1 ogre warrior in Kael, it's funny to log in on him and shout "Where's the newbie zone?" in the middle of a big raid, hehehe.
Note, any warrior who worships Rallos is non kos by default to giants, at least the ones in Iceclad, East Wastes and Great Divide.

All race/class/diety combos start out apprehensive to coldain and dubious to dain.

Sure they can, I am human and Kos to the guards. If you want this stuff you are going to be KoS. Just invis up at the Thurg zone and make a run for it. I have to do it everytime I go into Icewell. I have a Iksar monk friend that hunts in there with me. Cant wear the armor but he still gets in there.

wheres the best place to pull the watchers to....i saw a group pull from the arena area and also to the left of the bridge? what do u think is minimum lv for a paladin in a watcher group and what lv monk would we need? thx for any info.

Posted: Jun 15 2001 at 11:00 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) yeah, this bp is really easy to ninja-loot because usually the guild who killed devin doesn't loot him really quick. they are usually waiting for someone else to get there. so, all you have to do is wait for the uber guild to pull devin and then wait a minute after he dies. run up there quick and grab the bp even quicker. i have a full set of this stuff at lvl 10, it's great

This stuff is very easy to get. I went there first I found out about it and picked up helmet, arms, bootz, and gloves(bracers suck for wars). Only thing rare is bp and legs. Okay, the legs are great, many of the people who killed them will want em. I picked up most of this stuff at 34-35. Im going back at 47 to kill some derfs and get ma legz and bp. Gotta be easier than planes, youll see way more peeps with this than planes. And yes, it is plate, It looks like sentry or guardian armor from skyshrine, only turqoise. Looks different from regular plate, and yes iksars can wear, therefore, Iksar which previously were ruled sucky now ewnz0r cuz of Velious. They can also wear the Velious planes armor. PoG and PoM, and the Epic armor(ruined armor and stuff). I the moment i decided to go was when i saw a lvl 6 iksar with full of this stuff. Right now, im just looking for legz. I have full Royal Velium Frosted, Iksar BP, and Crafted legz(ewwwwww). Gotta get dese legz.

i had a group there today in 5-6 hours we got 2 bp 2 legs lots of boots helm arms lots of gloves like 6 necklass's wiz 6 cha 6 . form a good group and hit the watchers, easy common drops from them . lots of spells also, FYI looks gay on most races
