They're not faster than SoW. They're running fast because the Sarnak Shaman cast SoW on them. You can dispell their SoW and kite them in the exit if you feel like it.

Yesterday I tried to take a group to Chardok, we wanted to camp zone out. Well somehow this dog had a thing or two to say about it, which in the end cost us a 3 hour Corpse Run with help from a full guildgroup.
