The little camp in Lfay that has this chick fyi is hard for some people but hehe they must have lowered the pain they put out. Either that or my ac works well. This particular NPC and the NPCs she hangs out with are part of the faction for the Clerics of Tunare.... good way to get good factions with these folks are to kill 3 mobs in Plane of Growth. :D that will tear up your factions and you can wonder around Neriak's cleric guild with ease and no invis. This all coming from a Half Elf Tunare Ranger that now has to farm these and bone chips to fix the factions because her Diety attacks her lol.
Ok, so I'm in a party with guild members running to MM. I'm a Barbarian Warrior grouped with a Human Druid, a WE Druid, A HE Wiz and a HE Chanter.
We get near the camp and our wiz decides to go runnning in. She gets slaughtered and before I know what's happening Our human druid gets slaughtered. The other druid quickly zones to MM before they could kill him and I see our Chanter running away with three of these guys on his ***** Meanwhile I'm sitting still wondering what the heck is going on. I con these guys to find out they're dubious to me and just don't seem to give a crap about my precense. I almost felt like going down and roasting marshmellows with them by the fire.
I have no idea where I got the faction to have them be dubious to me. But I'm not complaining. This story has become a big hit now in our guild.

Great tale! I'll take a guess about the faction too... Indigo Brotherhood says it all. Seems like everyone likes to level up in GFay killing orcs (I'm betting you didn't and the human druid did). Well, every orc killed lowers faction with Indigo Brotherhood. Makes perfect sense...

Dark elves hate other elves. They more than likely have worse DE faction than you. The human druid should have also conned dubious, but he might have done something to take a faction hit.

As i was running along the left wall of Lfay from Steam front, i ran into a camp with something that had this.. something there hit me for 500 pts of damage, do not go into this zone, it has turned incredibly dangerous

When you kill Teir'Dal Elite, faction goes up with Emerald Warriors and Steel Warriors and down with Indigo Brotherhood (DE warriors). If I remember correctly, killing the prophets lowers it with Priests of Innoruuk (DE clerics), King Aythos Thex (not sure about that one), and raises with Priests of Life, Clerics of Tunare, and maybe Priests of Marr (not sure about that one).

I'm a Dark Elf Necromancer and King Aythos Thex is one of the Dark Elf kings....yet you'll never see him, but I believe him and his wife has some problems to work out since if your faction goes up with the king....It will usually go down with the Queen....

At 35 I came back. The Elites are easy to kite.
These Guys on the other hand are Clerics. They cast all the good Cleric DDs. Not something you want to solo.

I was actually able to get close enough to use Harmony. It's a tricky spell. You won't see any effects, but it still works. I successfully pulled an Elite and was only able to get it down to a third of it's life before going OOM.
That was at level 32 or so. Now that I'm 34, I might give em another shot.

You should see a little ring of light around their waist if the spell took effect. Be careful though.. if you pull one mob across another, you'll get both of them, harmony or no.

My self (29 warrior) and a 29 druid gave it a shot. He was unable to get close enough to use harmony on them though. Hugh aggro range. He them tried to harmonize me and I attempted to see how close i could get. They aggro'd on me but we might have been close enough to cast harmony on them. We decided to wait a couple lvl's or find some friends to help out next time. Will let you know how it goes. They all con'd yellow to us.
