I'm a 50 magician looking for any sort of monk weapon off these for my monk, any ieda if i can take it out? if not, how hard is it to get a group there and does the stuff spawn near the entrence? im scared of going into a zone unless im 20 levels higher than it. =)
Forget the stupid people out there. I would try to hunt him if you think that hes the right level range. If you kill light blue or dark blue go for it. If hes green then I thank he would be safe,unless hes in a room full of monsters. Now wasn't thast nicer then telling him he was dump. THere is no dump questions just dump answers

don't know about you guys, but when i walk into a zone where mobs are white+yellow to me, im not estatic about waltzing right in there either

these things are golems, which are summoned/magically created beings, so logically vs summoned spells *should* work on them. does anyone know if druid/mage vs summoned spells actually do work on them?

These guys drop wu's quivering staff and sainy's claw as ultra rare drops. IE can kill a thousand of them and maybe get one, not an easy task based on the ratio. Typically spawn in areas with other lvl 40ish mobs, although can spawn rarely where lvl 36ish or 45ish mobs spawn.
I have a confirmed drop of a quivering staff as I personally saw it on the trade window after this guy looted it.
He got it from a fog golem that spawned at the bottom of the right corner temple close to bridge.
Edit: just wanted to add that he also showed me the sainy's claw that dropped off a fog golem as well. Very nice bard weap. 6 / 19 3int 1.8weight 10ac magic lore item I believe. I could be a little off on the stats but its definately 10ac. In my opinion as good a drop as the quivering staff. He also got that from a fog that spawned at the bottom of the temple on the right side of zone.

i dont know about wu quivering staff but i do know that most things in the zone can be droped by ANYTHING but they are all rare, my group got a mater wu somthing stick though one time, stats ruled think it was 1hb 7dam 19dleay proc of smite monk only. sells for 8-10k, and i lost loot on it*cry*

Before you post, please make sure your info is correct. The Trance stick is damage 7 Delay 18.......not 19.

Toads are metamorphic (change apperences though there life like a butterfly, goes form a worm to a worm with wings). The go from a head with a tail to a blob with legs, and at one time are a blob with legs and a tail. They are also amphibions meaning they can live both in and out of water.

I conned a few of them at level 39, and all of them were red to me. The minimum level then would be 42.

Yes I think the lvls are wrong, the Fog Golems seem to be about the highest level golems in the zone. I would estimate at about lvl 42-44.

Just wanted to pass on to everyone about the common mobs here... As a 54 magician, most stuff at entrance areas are green to blue, and very rarely I can get a fog golem to con blue to me. Simply go further in closer to reaver areas, and just about everything is blue or higher. They might have the same name but are consistantly conning higher than entrance stuff.
After about 600 kills, I've looted one trance stick, an INT ring, and one jade something or other 1HS sword. The plat is good, the exp is steady, and the rare drops are satisfying. I'm coming to love this zone.

I think it's supposed to be "Fog" -- City of MIST --> Fog golems. I.E., the thing's made of fog. But I can see what you mean about frog, this sucker's ugly *grin*
