camped this guy 2 days now..
dropped 1 totem iksar scaled gloves (always) and a grachnist skull item (quest item?) have not seen any of the wolf hide armors at all.

i dont believe that....at lvl 35 i took out grach...barely but i won. im warrior.
Can a level 38 twink paladin solo? I wouldnt mind an earring but i dont wanna sit there all day with a friend kill him then lose role...plz tell me.
You could possibly take him solo is Lay Hands is up, though without it you'd lose as he is an undercon, hits in the 70s and fast. If that weren't enough, if there are any caster mobs around they will heal him and warrior mobs will aggro. That way you are taking on a dark blue and one or more light-blue/green mobs. A difficult solo fight for anyone under 40.
Finally, clearing the camp one or multiple times to get him to spawn would drain any one person so greatly that you should really be a tank with a lot of bandages level 45+ in my opinion to get him to spawn and solo him once, let alone repeatedly for hours on end to get what you're after.
Hope that helps, from a 47th druid that required the help of a 46 monk to hold the camp (we did so easily together, trading drops fairly).

Killed him about 15 times last night. Very random in the fort. No more then 15 minutes between spawns but a few times I had 2 up at once.
Just kill everything in the fort...as a 51 war I was demolishing the place. Only thing keeping me from going crazy from boredom was playing Godzilla with my Iksar lol ;)
In about 15 kills, got gloves every drop of course, and only the whip once....nothing else:(
All I can say is make sure you have jboots or tons of sow potions, these things sow each other and take off at half health...only thing i was worried about was running off the cliff and falling into the chasm there.

I was with my friend outside of the Forrest Giant Fort, still on the path, right in front of the bridge, when this dude comes out of nowhere and starts beating on us. I made it to the guards, but my friend was not so lucky. My point is, what was he doing there? Nobody trained him, and it just seems weird that he was walking down the path outside the Giant fort. Has anyone else seen him there?

I think this is one of the spots where he comes by. Me (a 24 necro) and a guildmate (26 druid) were sittin on the bridge and the sucker came out of nowhere and startin beatin on us. My pet died in about 20 seconds hehe.. We kite'd him for about 10 minutes just hitting w/snares and dd's . I couldn't get a single dd to stick and only had 1 dot take hold. He has freakin high magic resist.. anyways we got him down to a little bit under half his health and someone showed up to help and between the 3 of us we took him np... He did drop the gloves.

LOL!!! What do you expect to happen when you're casting on a red? The thing is 10 levels above you!!! My 39th druid was barely ever completely resisted. Only time that happens is when I use root and immolate... those two like to get resisted. Root has 2 resist checks and immolate... its a DoT and debuff... so not sure if its 2.. but its fire based DoT.

He could have been trained there, but the person who trained it there my not have made it. This guy can take a beating for a level 31-35 mob. My pet hacks at him with tripple 49 points of damage and he takes 3x 256 dd from my bracer (JBB Bracer) I was there in the goblin camp for 2 hours last night, and everytime he popped he was in the camp. Seems like his favorite drop are the Iksar Scaled Gloves. I have killed him 15 times, and all of the times he dropped the gloves. People before me camped him for a week, before they got the Gobo Earring.

Ohh and sometimes the Pit Fighter Dob pops in there, he take about as much dmg as the Crack head (Grachnist The Destroyer).

Hello, IM a 49 shaman on saryrn, i have been camping grach off and on for a while (over the lvels)and only thing i have firgured out is, going to BACK ruins, cross bridge and follow path until u get to 2 ruins with 3 pops in each, have got 2 earrings in 2 hours from back ruins and 1 earring in fort in about 5hours, *secret* once u get an earring go sell it and then in couple of daays camp him again, seems he doesnt drop earrings close together, also another hnt all the grahces have been green to me that dropped earrings, YES about half are light blue !

Waz sweet i am a 41 Rogue, a guildy (45 war) and i camped fort had em pop at least 15times in five hourz. he dropped earring 3 times... but of course since i cant roll fer **** me only got 1 outta the... but was nice sold mine fer 7.5k. Dunno wut guildie sold fer but thats more than a k per hour.. not bad metinx
me pally will be able to solo camp pretty soon.. gunna be on rich SoB... unlesss of course that was a fluke, and it prolly waz

i camped him easy. i was lvl42 and hat np him to handle. alot of people told me to clear the whole fort to get him spawn. THATS WRONG. i cleared only the bridge and the pops arround the bridge. he will most of the time spawn on the bridge or near. i got him 3 times to spawn in about 40 mins and always cleared only bridge and abit from the entrance of the fort. ofcourse it was luck but i give after 3rd kill to a ranger the camp and say him how i do. some hourse he told me that he get him with technics often to spawn near or on the bridge. on other side the only think i looted was the gloves and 1 i sold to other people that was in zone and 1 rooted. he told me that there was a war too that had camped him now for severals hours and no luck on that earring. so this was a camp time of arround 48 hourse with switching the camp to other players and no luck (. ofcourse this is very rare drop from him or removed ? hope this helped u out. a iam war/de. for info my gear is like : ac828 - attack 930- 1860 hp - lammy and jarsath trident with silver chitin handwraps ( hope to make soon 50 to get ac up , he ). i have handle him always on half of hp. and he took me arround 1 or 2 blubs. he hits in range of 70 and he has a large agro range. i never was looking for him he attack me always when i was near bridge. hope this helps u abit. :)

Just today, I randomly popped up by the goblin camp with my 44 Iksar monk. Happened to run into good old buddy Grachnist (about the 5th time I've seen him - I'm always passing through the Woods). I got extremely lucky and he dropped the shrunken goblin skull earring. Neato effect. Useful as a junk buff on raids, never hurts to have extra ATK while soloing, a definite keeper. People pay 5k for them on Tunare because they are very useful in the high end game. I'm constantly seeing high level classes camping the goblins, I assume mostly for this earring which is extremely rare.

FYI - He also spawns right where the stream forks to go around the giant fort. I've seen him there a couple times. His placeholders seem to be any of the goblins around the camp, and the single goblin at the stream fork.

44 sk here, you can solo granchist easily by fear kiting him, i do believe hes quite a bit of an undercon face to face tho, me and a 51 war were doing him and granchist made him lost like 2 bubs of health per fight, so if you wanna get his loot, take a partner, me and war killed him enough times so that i got my head for ds, and when i left he was still at it for warring, but trust me on fact that he can do damage
note: i soloed him once at lv 36, with like half hp lost, it depends on what lv him spawns, i think its like 31-35 like it says.

So this little earing that is grin arua (that ain't much) is worth 4k? i highly doubt that but if someone is going to spend 4k on a earing... more power to you guys who rolling the cash, but i still don't think it's 4k =D

Reason it's worth the cash is because it's a good instant junk buff in high end encounters to soak up dispells.

I was walking around giant fort and Grach attacks me I killed him without trouble and dropped gloves and head. So he must wander some from where he spawns.

i am killing him atm.. only the gloves have dropped.. and the head.. i am guessing it is for a quest it is no drop.. o well going back.

if u r a lvl 31 sk still dont count on soloing this guy, my lvl 41 pally is injured heavily by him. wait a few lvls then try or get a group to help you.
