Question - When they gate if you have them on track does the track break or can you haul out and try to polish them off before they come back for round 2?

If this is any help to anyone now, track will break if he gates beyond your tracking ability's range. Otherwise, you will maintain your target and you can go run him down.
The Gate trick these guys like to pull isn't a big deal for the most part..
Mobs can't do anything except run when they're feared.
And if you keep fear up, they'll drop in no time.

well this guy is weak. soloed him NP with my 41 monk. used a root silk ( from crystal caverns ) an he went down in no time. dident gate. no problems. lucky for me he dropped NOTHING WOOHOO. o well. he is weak. i will get u next sarnak ummm,cant spell well.

This guy also drops the sarnak earring of the Station which is 5ac 5str (very nice mellee ear). This is an uber rare drop though. I zoned into OT from FM and this guy is standing at the zone line and starts attacking me. Well i conned it and it was blue so i decided to give it a go. Well i killed him and looted his corpse and got the ear. Since then, i have seen this guy about 10 other times and not once has he had the ear on him. I guess that i just got lucky that he was there waiting for me at the zone line P.

these guys drop my favorite lookin weapons. The Sarnak ceremonial sword, crappy stats, 8 34 or somethin, with +10 vs magic, 2hs, somethin like that, got that on my erudite guy that just hangs around in kelethin lookin cool an buyin/sellin stuff. anyways, my favorite part of the sword is the red part, which is transparent, you can sorta see through it if you duck an move it around, also, the wolverine claws are kickin, the pitchatkas are cheap, ive bought em for 25-100 pp, eitchatkas are better, ive sold em for 1k-2k, and traded one for a breastplate of ro that my erud is now wearing. im a happy camper, heh >8).

I agree about how cool the Sarnak Ceremonial Sword is. I received it for free from a kind soul that was sick of trying to sell it, along with 5 other items of the same nature in a bag. I use it when attending weddings and when hanging out in Gfay selling. I get alot of comments about how cool it looks, but when they see the stats they are turned off. I'll probly never be able to sell it, even at my 200pp price, but that's ok. I still have good use for it. :)

Ok the Sarnak, not sure which ones but they drop two claws that one is off hand only and one is main hand. The names are Sarnak Pitchatka and Sarnak Eitchatka. Both same stats just finally you can look like wolverien from the X-Men.

Be careful with this guy, he gates back to the ruins when he gets low and sends the Knights out after you. He heals up and comes back after you.

This has some very cool loot, and I got a claw and a sword of some sort also. It was on the same monster, and i was very happy. I didnt like it, so i gave it to a newbie.

If they are in fact shamen..why do they drop claws for both hands, and i got a sarnak cerimonial sword the other night, doesn't seem like a shamen =)
simple, npc's cheat, class limits on various items don't matter to them, they can even have two lore items on em :p

Got that cheating right. I dumped all my clerified mana on this guy and he kept healing up. now where in the world does he keep all the mana in that stupid little head of his. On top of all that he chain cast a bunch of dd spells on me when my root wore off and he could get in range. Since my magic and cold where high I took less than 40 on almost all casts and 2dmg on a lot of them. He would go down to a sliver then healed faster than my dots could eat him and some how survive my DD. but before I could med up for another blast he was back to half health. Never gated though.

All the Snaraks share a common loot table. If your looking for an item go camp the greenies if your looting for an item+exp camp the blue thoguh red ones. All Snarak loot is randomized of random Snaraks per zone they spawn in if I rember correctly with the Earring of Station (5ac 5str) being the ultra rare loot for these guys.

BTW these things are shamman, and can gate, heal up and come back for you full strength, had it happen last night. It was the same one as my pet ran out to meet it as it charged us for round 2.
